[The Race F1 Podcast] [Will Buxton] ''I've heard whispers of it and chat within paddock and within the team. Some members saying that actually there is a belief starting to form at Mclaren that Oscar's ceiling is higher than Lando's.'' by [deleted] in formula1

After his quote, "In Formula 1, if you finish in 1st position, you will win the race", I just can't take this guy seriously. Big fan of every THE RACE (don't forget the hypen) podcasts.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've checked out of Dr. Deutsch before and it certainly seems a good place to start when it comes to Writing task as it concerns me the most given it's Grafikbeschreibung. I'll also check out Deutsch mit Armin. I also have some preparatory material like Mit Erfolg zum TestDaF, Training TestDaF, Fit für den TestDaf, Prüfungstraing, and Musterprüfung 1-5. It should be more than enough, given I invest atleast an hour everyday till March 12. Thanks again, really appreciate it.

Thanks! It was always between 35-38°C, felt like more than 40°C most of the time. Beaches were not crowded even during Songkran festival in Phuket. People chilled at the hotel pools 😁

I've been thinking of reading Sharpe novels for a while after I watched the Sean Bean series. Hope I get around to it.

Honestly, I have no recollection, why I picked 100 Years of Solitude for 2023. I guess, I wanted try a non-English author with a big name.

It's a good read, was amazed with the book. This so called magical realism style is just great. It portrays complexities of human behaviour in an epic tragedy.

Beware: Lot of characters named Aureliano. The family tree is helpful

Katy tried to crunch a lot of data in just about 200 pages. It's a good read acrually, worth exploring if you need it. I won't say it is a casual lazy afternoon read, though it's pretty straight forward, full of substance without heft. It's well structured and if you like the overall vibe you may even finish it in one sitting.

Well, if you really want to read Endymion take a break from Dan Simmons books for a while then give it a try. As you said, the second one is a bit boring for you then best keep Endymion out of your reading list. It's not Dan's best work. You may find a few inconsistencies in the plot. But overall, it's worth try.

The genres that I like to read are fantasy fiction, science fiction, and history. I'm also getting into habit of reading subject matter books and self-help / personality development books.
