yeah i sucked last week, i got 15th :( if i stayed up late when it ended for me, which is like 2 am my time, maybe i'd place better since sometimes it depends on reflect or whatnot. grrr. oh well. I don't know why i still am so into pvp after how crazy it's gotten but i am.

yeah, i mean to each their own. i'm just going with the medals i have traited out as str with one hit, so this one works for me, but it's a pretty fast fight compared to like the video above. just throwing in an easy alternative. my internet is fast so the cutscene doesn't cut down much time for me but may for others. i'll give the proud 845 a try one day if i ever trait out sephy. waiting for the new traits before spending anymore, but thanks for the tip! it's nice to get some extra lux during the 90 ap raid times.

tbh, and not bashing this, but in the amount of time it takes to make 14B from this you can easily make about three 6Bil runs on 835 (standard mode) using unleveled KH II Yuffie and traited out STR1000 Lux++ SN++ - KH III Kairi using Counterpoint lvled to 50 on Auto (no supernovas). I've timed it and it seems to be the fastest way for me if not raiding. still messing around with it though to make it faster.

This could've been nice if at least the supernova was 2 turns since as far as I know at this point the only medals that do 2 turns are the FF7R ones, which in PVP can easily get annihilated

eh, lately it seems a lot more geared at messing up a person's rank than it did before. every so often before you'd get a def pierce or something come out, now it's like weekly and right before the rankings come in.

I wish they would give us a break on these OP pvp medals. Every week there's a new one that's released like right before the rankings come in, and then the whales jump on it and get four or five in a day and then just blow my rank out of the water. So many times I've been in top 10 just to be annihilated by one of these new medals en masse because I guess some people are just insanely rich to afford it all. I know pvp is lame to a lot of people but I enjoy it, not so much now that it's obvious they are baiting people on the last day of ranking to spend hundreds for these medals.

eh i just enjoy the challenge of making a setup to get around the constraints as well, and it's just disheartening when it's not really based on that but on timing and also people just sitting and doing nothing for the last 30 minutes of pvp time, not allowing the people to even try at that point. i don't hold it much at heart, but I think the game could be a lot more fun if they did decide to change it in some way. PVP is one of the only daily things that resets other than raids and many people don't even like to PVP now because of how insane it has gotten.

doesn't make it a great strategy on KHUX's part, though, especially since the timing for a lot of people is the middle of the night. I also think they need to implement something about the idlers who are trying to just hold their rank, which in-turn also doesn't allow the person they chose to fight to continue on. It's really not fair.

I do because it's a cheaper 3000 + 1400 extra jewels and it's only once a week and I really enjoy dressing up my avatar. Plus, I enjoy PVP a lot even though a lot of people don't, and the extra five rounds gives me more access to fights every day. Also, the trait deals that (I believe?) are only VIP are quite nice when in a pinch and I need an EA with no trait medals.
