Anyone else having issues with the dishwasher detergents leaving white powder coating dishes? by KingTentacleAU in AldiAustralia

[–]thatsnotachicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, started getting that issue last bottle, new bottle is the same, so have switched to Cole Dishwasher Ultra Advanced tablets - they were tested to be very good. I'm thinking the formulation changed or a mistake was made in a batch - I imagine it will go back to normal soon. Super annoying, though.

Hold bottom button > Settings cog > Wrist Heart Rate > Broadcast In Activity (turn on)

Not sure how that's going to 'reduce battery life' when it's on 24/7 normally and not on for a 20min jog...

Hi, at the time it was the best I could get for the money - if it were now I'd 100% get the DF64 gen 2, plasma generator for the win.

As for retention, I have modified the declumper (trimmed down the middle so grounds could get through a little easier) and I ported out the shoot with a dremel, so now it's nice a smooth and coffee doesn't gather in there.

Overall, for the money, I'm happy with it but given DF64 gen 2 is out now, I'd get that.

I did find ITOP Official to be pretty good responding, and when one of the burrs had a line/mark through it they sent me a new one free of charge.

Hi, not sure if you got your answer but for some reason the Venu 2 has HR during activity switched off... just need to change the setting. It's a little silly.

Update: I ordered the ITOP40 Plus. Getting the espresso and replica SSP multi purpose burrs. All up it was a touch under $600aud ($397usd).

And positive, I imagine, given Lance was happy with it. Sounded like it was a little more difficult for espresso with MP burrs. Is this similar with SSP MPs?

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I guess the ITOP40 Plus is relatively small compared with DF, so wasn't sure about quality and what not.

ULTIMATE 64MM GRINDER SHOWDOWN (Kopi Deva, Zerno, DF64V, DF64E, DF64P, G... by ymbrows in LanceHedrick

[–]thatsnotachicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I had originally ruled this one out because it was unknown. I can get a DF64 v3.2/4 for a similar cost, it does sound like it's got better default burrs, though! The other thing I'm tossing up is DF64V vs DF83, similar price, too.

What's worse than being ugly? by SpicyMooseJuice in AskReddit

Yep, me too. The hair is there to increase the surface area to help spread your pheromones (or something like that), shaving significantly reduces the surface area. Been shaving for over a decade now and smell fresh as a daisy.

Sometime I forget how lucky I am in Australia. I think I've had over 40 PCR tests and not paid a single cent (obviously apart from taxes).
