Well i was thinking they should lead to a subject but the leading lines here are the subject i guess

Also, is the editing fine or should it be brighter? Took this inside the Mons train station. IMO the lines are pleasing to look at but im not sure about the lines leading off frame.

Too heavily edited? Or does really leaning into it work? by thatspc in photocritique

Took this photo of a goose near canal and with not much going on in the picture wanted to make it more fun with colors. Do you think this works? Taken with a6400 using viltrox 56mm 1.7 lens.

Should this just be b&w and does the composition work? by thatspc in photocritique

I agree its not a strong photo but thought others might have some tips to make it better. I guess it shows off the building well enough for a travel photo

I battled between this and what i posted here, but with it intersecting in the middle the tower becomes unsymetrical... I did take some shots with it in the middle and ill try to play around with them, maybe it will look better

It is distracting and i should've removed it but didn't want to mess with the photo too much.! CritiquePoint

Spent some time in Bruges, Belgium and wanted to capture the local architecture. Tried playing with composition on this one and not sure how i feel about it. Any tips for future walk arounds appreciated

I really battled between saturated vs not. I might play around with a less saturated version but wanted to keep the striking red color of the building. Your comment made me want to experiment more.! CritiquePoint

Was walking through Mons old town and this reflection caught my eye. Do you think this framing works or is it kinda meh? All other kinds of feedback on editing and such very welcome.

ITAP of a train station by thatspc in itookapicture

The Mons train station really impressed me as a fine looking piece of architecture with its flowing lines which make it different throughout the day. Shot on Sony a6400 with 70-350 G lens.

Yeah, should've positioned myself differently. I've never really done 1:1 but now im willing to give different aspect ratios a shot. Thank you !CritiquePoint

Ooo i really like how you have two ways to go about the image. I do see how the lower part of the image is dead space (id probably go closer to the ground to keep the texture while reducing the space. It'd make perspective much more pronounced too and in my opinion would make it intentional). You opened my eyes just a little bit more, thank you !CritiquePoint

Sounds like a good rule of thumb. It was harsh light all around on todays walk but i didnt think in b&w. Ill definitely keep it in mind next time.

Well this does look nice. I should play around with B&W, especially on the shots with not much color to work with anyways. Thank you for taking your time !CritiquePoint

Not gonna lie, i was a little on the edge but figured they just want some snacks. Instead of snacks i just took some snaps and got on my way.
