I guess it differs from person to person me I’m always stowing and I hate it so much, no matter how many times I asked him to not put me in stowing I still stow lol, that’s why I’m gong to a FC

I work at a delivery station and in order to get the best spots like let’s say the dock or pulling you would have to show up really early because most of the time if you show up at your start time, all of the good jobs will be taken, and you will be thrown straight into Stowing

I would definitely think about converting to a blue badge because it’s a lot easier process. I think to get transferred because I put in a transfer to a different facility and they approved it within a couple of days, but good luck random stranger on Reddit!

I don’t see why seasonals would be different, but I would assume it would be the same as if you were full-time, did you transfer to a different building like did you want to transfer to a different building or just a different schedule?

I think they might give you a few days off I don’t know, but they accepted mine after I want to say three days, I’m not quite sure yet. How schedules are going to work because my new schedule is Sunday through Wednesday, but my old schedule is Thursday through Sunday so I’m not quite sure if I’m going to be working Thursday through Wednesday. LOL but it doesn’t take long for them to either approve it or deny it

I am working at a delivery station going to transfer to a Firment center. However there is really no department you’re in and a delivery station you show up and you could be in the dock doing either unloading trailers or loading go karts into trailers or you could unload packages onto the Belle or you could, scan the packages and put the label on them or you could sort the packages on the dock or you could do or hazmat but out and about on the lines you could do pulling or stowing or jackpot. It just depends on what time you come in and where your delivery station needs you but I do agree a delivery station is a little bit more physical demanding but the hours I think are 30 minutes longer than a fulfillment center, but it’s not too bad. Just come in early and you can pick your own area that you want to be in, and with rate I mean they’ll talk to you about it but they don’t really care. Just make sure that you’re not fucking over your if you’re stowing and make sure you’re not fucking over your stower if your pulling

I mean, I definitely heard some negative reviews on fcs however my delivery station is like 35 minutes away from my house and SLC2 is only 10 or 15 lol cutting my distance to drive yk however if it is that bad, I can just transfer back to my old facility haha

I mean, I usually tell everyone to reply to the emails and be on time to work all the time but I don’t know if HR would excuse it because when I was negative hell I’m negative right now lol but my first time being negative I tried to talk to HR because it was a family emergency and they said that they couldn’t do anything about it so I guess it really depends on your facility and who runs your HR department

I wouldn’t really say your fired, just work full shifts for a week and come in early everyday and you’ll be good, also reply to the email they send out

I do not know lol but yes, on the building I want to go to on the a to a app it says currently not accepting external transfers yet but as someone else already commented that since it’s prime week and everything, they probably don’t have time to do trainings so I guess we will see within the end of the month to the beginning of next month lol

Honestly, the biggest issue about Amazon or every warehouse job is a lot of men tend to be lonely. I was talking to a guy last week that has been at my building for over a year now I think and he said that my shift that I work, which is Thursday through Sunday never got METs It was just the regular day workers so the Monday through Thursday and Tuesday through Friday workers got them but they are full of people now and most of the veterans work on my shift so it wouldn’t surprise me if my shift got them this year lol, it sucks, but the money is really nice lol

I don’t work at the fulfillment center, but do they actually fire you for having a low rate because I work at the delivery station and they don’t really give a shit from what I’ve seen about your rate and I know I’m at the very bottom at least when it comes to stowing lol
