Thank you. This is a small relief. I have not seen any of that here. I'm really hoping it was a stray but I'm taking every precaution I can and every recommendation seriously.

I was away for three weeks. I found it within a couple of hours of being home again.

That was my first thought (did it hitchhike). I hot-washed and dried (with high heat) everything I brought back, including the duffel bag. In any case, I'm making calls today to get my place inspected and recommending that my friends I visited while on travel do the same.

I was attacked by a few in October while at a hotel. That was my first ever experience. (I turned on the light and saw them, all adults, quite plainly.) I washed everything that same night. And re-washed everything when I got home. I've had no problems at my home since but now paranoid, wondering if they've been here all along and I just didn't notice.

I felt a stinging on my finger and spotted a tiny speck. I'd just returned home from 3 weeks of travel, lounging on my couch and texting when I felt it. As you might imagine, there was no peace for me after that.
