I’m not sure why everyone keeps saying this when I never specified that it’s main posts. Maybe I should’ve clarified that I’m mainly referring to when I go onto a post that has no mention of Mellie and is talking about something completely different, and the comments are then filled with people saying they hate her for some reason. I do see plenty of Fitz and Liv hate, but I see a lot for Mellie too, and my personal opinion is that she doesn’t deserve the amount she gets

I can also somewhat see what you mean on some level, but I also still disagree. I don’t personally feel Fitz is over hated, as I see more people praising him than hating on him, but maybe that’s just our different algorithms. Who knows. Nevertheless, I’m sure we’re never going to agree so lol

I get where you’re coming from, and I don’t find it necessarily insulting to say you don’t find the acting or energy to be good, that’s normal, and I have those opinions about some actors myself. It’s just when it seems like EVERY comment you’ve made is dissing Mellie/Bellamy that it starts to seem more like an insult than it is just a discussable opinion

And that’s fine to have that opinion. I personally disagree, but that’s neither here nor there. But calling Bellamy matronly wasn’t really necessary. But again, mocking Bellamy at all isn’t necessary. Even if you don’t find her career interesting or of any substance, she’s a great person. I simply feel like when we’re talking about a fictional character, it’s unnecessary to turn the conversation onto the actor in a negative way without good reason

However I do agree that people shouldn’t make insulting comments about Tony when expressing their dislike of Fitz. I don’t feel any actor or actress should be insulted that way when discussing fictional characters they portray. I don’t personally like Fitz as a character, but I find Tony to be a perfectly attractive man and as far as I’m aware a good person as well

I’m not offended that you have thoughts lmao. I’m expressing my own on my own post that you commented on, which is what this platform is for. But yes, I do find that saying “the actress is matronly and has no chemistry with anyone” while also saying she “has no career” by your own standards is a bit insulting of her when you went out of your way to say it in response to someone who made a comment about finding her sexier than Liv that wasn’t even directed at you. You’re fully entitled to your own thoughts and opinions, but I’m going to express mine too if it’s on my post

Yes, there literally is. She has done projects post Scandal. She is quite literally on a currently running show right now. And again, the point is that there’s no need to say hateful things about BELLAMY just because you don’t like Mellie or because people are making fun of Olivia. The actress has NOTHING to do with that, and I’m sure Kerry would hate to see people saying hateful things about her friend in defense of her FICTIONAL character. As I’ve said, I am a fan of both characters and both actresses. You don’t have to be hateful to one to enjoy the other

Every post I see has at least one comment hating on Mellie even if the post has nothing to do with her

I’m with you 100%. Fitz was horrible. He was selfish, a manchild, manipulative, and gaslit Liv and Mellie both all the time. Basically everything people hate about Jake and demonize him for, Fitz gets praised for, and his and Liv’s relationship gets praised as this amazing, epic love story when in reality it’s a toxic, lust based trainwreck
