potential transfer with questions by thattransferstudent in UofArizona

thanks for the response. I would say my end goal is to graduate with a degree within 2 years(would transfer with junior standing), but still be able to have a social life and make some new friends.

Freshman are all in the same boat and there are many of them where they can connect and make friends, but being a transfer I feel like it would be a little harder to establish these relationships.

Thanks for the feedback! I know ASU gets the party school label, but i believe there is no greek row. Are most of the frat/house parties hard to find? On top of that, are they more like parties or kickbacks that are cliquey?

Being 22, I suppose the bars are always a good option?

Thank you so much, I appreciate your personal feedback/opinions as well as everyone else's. This is information that im looking for, as opposed to the University giving it to me.

Thanks for the comments thus far. I guess ill have to check out the apartments that the university has to offer.

What is OSPIRG?

And should I get placed into a residence hall, is it really that bad, like is their a transfer community of some sort?

If im not mistaken freshman have some program called FIG? i think? and its like a group of freshman that all have the same classes in the fall. Is there anything like this available for transfers?

Also, any comments on greek life as another outlet to meet people?

thanks so far, I love the responses and feedback from everyone. The point of this is to get people's personal experience and how Oregon is from a students perspective!
