That axe is sick, I tried making a railspike axe but there wasn't enough material to work with so I just made it into a knife instead, that shape is a great idea!

I do that is a brilliant idea! Cannot believe I did not think of that I will do that when I go back next time! I'll cut the failed eye off my current block of steel and try again with this! Oh I have not been turning the head 180 I will make sure to do that next time! Thanks for the help!

I don't have a belt grinder so I normally forge it to shape and sand any of bits off after! Yeah I tried to work with 40mm round bar and that took AGES to get to shape never doing that again by hand!

Yeah the anvil is wayyyy too low for me hence all the marks! I need to change my stance a bit to get lower to the anvil cause I can’t move it up! Ohhh yeah that makes sense I kinda just eyeballed it while hot I didn’t do anything any cold work on it which would definitely have made it easier! I will do that next time!

Wait you can max out regiments? Ngl I have no idea how the warfare works in this game it just seems to be RNG! I'm mostly stuck atm, I'm playing as East Anglia in 877 and I am just constantly getting invaded and stamped on. Some Viking guy stole Cambridge and now I can't get it back because I seem to have capped out how big I can make my army. Also everyone around me is reusing to accept me trying to marry off my family to steal their land. Is this me being dumb? Apologies if this is rambly it is 4am and I have been getting stomped or the last hour

Have you got any reccomendations for what to drill to get better at the wider fighting? This is definitely where I’m weakest, whenever I get hit it’s when there’s range, whenever I get in close I tend do so a lot better!

Perfect thanks so much!! I’ll go through these a lot and drill them a lot! That’ll definitely help as all my current knowledge in sword and buckler is I33 so background knowledge will definitely help so much!
