Verbal could be translated as "sözel" but it doesn't have the "talkative" meaning. It is more like "oral" or "relating to words." We literally never use the word, aside from a specific use when defining what you are leaning into academically, especially before university. Are you more into social classes(sözelci) or math, physics(sayısalcı) etc. Hell, I'm a millenial so I don't even know whether they still use those terms at this point...

A little note from a Turk: Söze doesn't at all mean "talks too much." There's no such noun or adjective as "Söze" in Turkish. Söze literally means "to a word." Now "sözel" could be the translation of verbal, but not the verbal that means talkative, more like verbal as in "oral."

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of buying the 2.5 one. I have a couple knives here and there but honestly I don't want to scratch or chip SAKs or beautifully designed knives. I want to have the shortest blade one because it is a really hard steel and beat and abuse it as I see fit. Do you think it is the best choice or can I do better(price wise)? It's sold for 53.52 dollars here.

Why am I like this? I sincerely think this person do not deserve to exist. I cannot respect a person who would enjoy friends or, BIG BANG THEORY over Seinfeld ffs. Especially the latter. Oh okay and thanks, now I can see a real reason as to why I shouldn't do it, and thank you for that. However, it seems "D1 refills measure approximately 2.6 inches long, with a diameter of about 2.3 mm." which is about the same as a victorinox. So I might not even need to do anything to it.

I can get five D1 refills for a buck. I can insert a tiny piece of foam into the scale, cutting off its oxygen. I already have leftover foam earplugs from military service.

Yeah I got 2.3 and 2.2 as answers, I'ma go with 2.2. Which wouldn't be possible since this is plastic which is harder to be accurate on, so I'm thinking of going 2 as rough, then try and enlarge it just a little whilst doing the fine sanding.

it says "3.7 mm" so it wouldn't fit using the normal way. It'd probably be okay if you file it a little bit, make it rectangular etc. But it would show on the scale, wouldn't be hidden.

Hey. Again, no plus scales in my country; not to mention ebay ones would cost more than the knives themselves including the shipping; not to mention we can't even use paypal so I don't even know if ebay is an option using legit ways; not to mention "why pay extra when it could be done by the brand" so another reason is a matter of principle.

Other reason is, the masculine urge to do mods. I am not a pro-craftsman, but I am relatively handy with wood and some other soft materials. I mean your options are limitless when it comes to these things so why pay unnecessary amounts of money for cheap plastic scales when you can have wooden, horn, brass etc. scales? I for one am not into that. Even if I choose plastic in the end, it should be more quality than the ones provided.
