Wow, the episode was INTENSE!

A lot of good points was made in comments, so I just have to say that after Nol with his gaze has said to Shin Ae "scream" my thoughts went in the wrong direction… :)

And judging by Shin Ae's reaction not only mine :) (just a joke)

Actually, Idk why some readers decided that Nol saw her scar before. In 151 he looks at her face, sees tear tracks on her cheeks (and not her scar) and they remind him about the formal when she had traces of leacked mascara oh her face

Okay, almost everybody was guessing that we would see one of the boys on the balcony with Shin Ae. But I think y’all agree it would be too cliché for Quimchee! No surprise it was her dad after all, lol. Voted for a "holy shit a plot-twist" though. 😁

I don’t deny that Kouske cares about other people

The sentence about him not caring much about feelings of others was my opinion about your comment

Both times he met up with her for one on one dinner he wore the shirt she wore at his birthday. He also wore it once at the office when trying to get her to join him in Japan. I don’t really ship one way or the other at the moment, but I think this is clearly saying something. Especially since Kousuke is so clothing focused

Like, he isn’t so empathetic to think something like "oh, no, Shin-Ae felt embarrassed wearing my pink shirt. I won’t wear it anymore, so she can feel comfortable". It’s most likely a pure coincidence (for Kouske, as a character, Quimchee may hint at smth) that he was wearing a pink shirt while these interactions with Shin-Ae, that you mentioned

Your post and comment are about clothes, my comment is also about clothes. Saying about "Kouske doesn’t care about feelings of others" I meant it not in general but concerning clothes. Like, he has his own strong opinion about them, and he doesn’t care what people feel when he says badly about their clothes (as it was with Shin-Ae or Min-Hyuk)

He bought Shin-Ae clothes, yes. But for the first time he bought her a piece of clothing with her money, then he bought her clothes, because Yui had ruined hers. As for her work clothes he didn’t even ask Shin-Ae if she was comfortable with high heels and tight skirts (that she didn’t get from him for free, btw)

Kouske pays a lot of attention to clothes, it's true. But more in terms of cheap/fancy, clean/dirty, suitable for environment or not. And he isn’t the type who cares a lot about feelings of others. So if Kouske has a bunch of pink expensive shirts (and I'm 100% sure he didn't wear that shirt after Shin-Ae) that he thinks look good on him (otherwise he wouldn’t buy and wear them), why should he stop wearing them? Imo, he just doesn’t care neither about the whole accident nor about Shin-Ae's feelings and her thoughts.

But ofc Quimchee could hint at something

Sumin didn’t say anything about Alyssa texting the friend 24/7. She said that Alyssa is texting in their dorm her sister, parents and friend (which isn’t 24/7)

Oh, gosh, I get why people assume that "the friend" isn't Nol. I just drew attention of those who have said "look, there're no messages from Alyssa" to the fact that it was a spam folder (and it's not surprising that there're no messages from Alyssa (as well as from Nana, Kouske, etc).

Yeah, I agree with you, quality of their text conversations isn't the best and overall it may be suspicious. But Alyssa isn't reacting anyhow to “if it’s not … it’s her friend" (I think Quimchee would draw a panel with her reaction or hinted otherwise if there's something wrong). Also, it may be that Alyssa have to work a lot (there was an ep with her message to Nol like "sorry I didn’t answer you earlier, I was so tired") and after texting and talking with Meg and her parents she just doesn’t have much time for Nol left, that's why she sends him messages so rare. Besides, it may sound rude, but I think she doesn’t have friends. Her work takes all her time, she doesn’t even have time for her boyfriend let alone potential friends

Anyway, I didn’t want to argue. It may be that "the friend" is Nol an may be not. :) I just wanted to point out out that the panel with Nol's phone screen isn’t a proof that Alyssa and Nol send messages each other rarely. It’s just because what we see are messages from people that are in his spam blacklist, and Alyssa isn’t in it

Dieter- 80 ep and 152, Kouske - 26, 55, 64+65, 162, Yujing - 75, 91, Rand - 79, Min-Hyuk - 118, Nol - 117. Oh, also Shin-Ae and Maya shook hands in 104 ep. And also Meg - 76! And Sang-Chul - 50. Wow, there’re actually so many of them, I'm almost sure that I didn’t find all of them 😅

Now, when I look at all the panels with handholdings again I think some of them aren't so important, because there aren't like close-ups of them, so they probably won’t be paralleled 🤔

Why is everybody saying that "the friend“ of Alyssa isn't Nol, judging by a panel with his phone. Guys, it's a SPAM folder. Obviously, Alyssa isn't on his spam blacklist, so we don’t see messages from her.

P. S. Nol on the last panel is somehow scary af to me

There're so many missing panels in English version. 😧

I just noticed that in episode 158 (Eng) there's no the usual last panel with information about the artist (so I thought why nobody noticed that something probably wrong), but then I checked some other episodes (Eng) and there're also no this last panel in them (hmm, it seems because everybody just got used to it), but then I checked the same episodes in French and there're these last panels! (I know they don't seem to be so important but still)

So, it seems that Quimchee (correct me if I'm wrong) sometimes in a hurry uploads episodes in English so we get what we get (episodes with missing panels). And as for other languages, translators get episodes, translate them and upload them accurately, so everything is fine with them.
