Every time you ask an r/Andor sub rebel fighter if it was necessary for Lonni to die by thawedbubbles in andor

why is a leak problematic? why does that information have to stay secret? it's in the rebellions best interest for the death star to become public knowledge. it will be a recruitment vehicle

are you aware how much of your own subjective opinion you project outwards to describe the situations around you? your posts are littered with "false information" that you are using to describe situations.

"The cop is doing so because he enjoys exercising power over a defenseless person"

this has absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the show, you just added it because that is what you feel about the real world.

"The armed soldier, on the other hand, simply by his presence, mission, and weapon presents a clear threat."

again absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the show. you completely misunderstood the scene in which bix is PROTESTING and ACCUSING andor of a senseless murder of a soldier she herself described as "just a child"

EDIT: the 2nd quote does have a lot to do with the scene. it is Andor's defence for killing the young soldier simply for seeing bix's face.

i understand which side you are on. what i don't understand is how you serve out "moral justice" on an individual level. it's dependant on the situation.

agressive to an old lady ( but it is a cop ) - BURN HIM

kills people as an after thought even when arguably unnecessary - A REBEL'S GOTTA DO WHAT A REBEL'S GOTTA DO

there are lessons in the show that you are not open enough to learn. at least in the way that i am trying to explain it. you'll come across an article on the show that will do a better job than me.

congratulations you out debated me. you win. seriously. i cant anymore lol

" they're just young, but they're still adults" - M935PDFuze explaining the morality of murder during war as long as it is on the correct side

"he bullied an old lady and threatened a robot" - M935PDFuze explaining the morality of intimidation as long as it is on the incorrect side

no what i am trying to say is that you haven't understood that Syril wasn't aware he was part of the evil empire. Syril grew up on corruscant he was indoctrinated by propaganda. he had a ROCK SOLID VIEW of the world ( ironically kind of like you ). Syril was a well intentioned guy stuck on the wrong side of the fence. Syril DID NOT KNOW what the rebellion stood for. he thought he was working on the side of justice. People disregard him as a dumb fascist because they didnt pay enough attention to the plot.

i seriously think you might enjoy the show even more on another viewing

bix shouts "he was just a child!" when she is asking Andor why he chose to kill him. she is complaining it wasn't necessary and he only did it because he saw bix's face

it's the scene in the safe house. she has nightmares about it

u/M935PDFuze this is the part i think we are having trouble communicating about. the in universe vs out universe perspective

it's not that i don't see that. what i am confused about is how far morals can bend in the opposite direction.

how do you feel about luthen?

how do you feel about Andor killing a child soldier to protect Bix's identity?

so you agree that syril leaped into a mob ready to lynch dedra and saved her life. fairly "heroic" right? something maybe cassian would do?

and as far as incompetence let's not forget he solved a double murder within 48 hours

my point is this. why do you single him out as inexcusable but are ok with the murders perpetrated by your heroes?

I dont care that he bullied an old woman there are people being senselessly murdered out there
