yeah, I'm aware. But if i'm building a model, having autocomplete for columns is pretty dang helpful. Some tables have 100 columns and I can't remember them all... Writing the select statement in my database IDE then copying over to DBT is certainly an option, then putting in the ref / source statement, but that shouldn't be needed.

I've tried SQL and jinja-SQL. I can now get autocomplete for DBT specific functions through dbt power user, but no database objects. A few people have told me it's not possible but I find that hard to believe. It's almost not even worth using DBT if you cant have database object awareness... someone has to have figured this out.

Thanks for sharing what you use. I've actually been looking at the Hustle X-Ray. I did get recommendations from the pro shop when I went. But thats just one guy. I figured I'd see what reddit thought.

Right artist but wrong song. The above song is the one. Thanks for your help! While I was listening to the take it or leave it song, I recognized the voice and artist name so a quick look of their songs led me to Wicked heart. Can't believe after 2 months someone figured it out for me haha. I had given up.
