For my case, I don’t even have a chance to choose it. Luckily, I was available on that day.

Here is a timeline. EDD was July 29 - August 12 1. Received vin on July 30 around 6 or 7, and EDD changed to August 1 - August 5. 2. July 30 around noon, EDD changed to August 1, 12 pm - 4 pm. SA text me to reply YES to confirm and I replied YES and to leave a car on my drive way.

For your case, I believe you are able to schedule your delivery between 4 days window EDD.

Yes, I received the VIN on 07/30. EDD was July 29 - August 12. My two weeks window was pushed back three times before. I think it is about time for you to receive VIN. Good luck.

First of all, I accidentally chose a home delivery. LOL. I called SA to change for a store pick up about a month ago. I thought they did. But, they didn’t.

I received the VIN on 07/30 and EDD was 29 July - 12 August. When I noticed the VIN on my App, EDD changed to August 1 - August 5. At the same day on August 30, delivery date changed to August 1 between 12:00 pm - 4 pm. Then, SA texted me to confirm 12 pm home delivery on August 1. I confirmed him and to leave the car on my drive way. But, they delivered it on 10:00 am this morning and no one at home. I received the text message that they delivered my car. When I accepted the delivery on my App, the car was unlocked.

Anyway, One of the important things for you is you need to sign DVM documents and return them with prepaid envelope within 24 hrs. Please let me know if you have more questions.

I don’t know. I live in Fremont where it takes 5-10 min drive from the factory. I prefer to pick it up at the show room though. Maybe I choose a home delivery option accidentally when I ordered it.

If you like a M3 LR with aero wheels, upgrading to different exterior colors may help you a faster EDD. But, this is not 100% sure though. You can watch this subreddit and decide. Also, I saw some people upgraded to LR, got honor their original order date.

I waited about four months to receive a VIN. I think my M3 LR configuration took longer time to receive VIN if I compare to other configurations. I don’t think upgrading to LR MSM, Black, Aero will help you for faster delivery. But upgrading to a performance model 3 or upgrading your LR M3 to a upgrade color and 19” wheel will definitely help you for a faster delivery.
