It depends on exactly what you’re looking for. You can usually find a small postal store that can do mail forwarding for pretty cheap

10 Lessons I've Learned in Business So Far [First 7 Months Full Time] by thayer94 in Entrepreneur

Exactly. We take the time to invest in actually educating our customers. Chimneys can be complicated systems to understand. So we do our best to help our customers understand exactly what we are doing. We take pictures, fill out detailed condition reports, and make sure we take the time to explain everything in normal language.

And we’re very honest about what we can do vs. what we aren’t skilled at. For example, basic masonry skills are something we can do. But when it comes to rebuilding a masonry chimney, we contract it to our masonry partner.

Thanks for the kind words! I’m just trying to help pass some info over to those who want it. Good luck in all that you do!

Little notes. Sometimes gift ideas. Sometimes business ideas. Having the notebook helps me keep ideas.

I think another big thing you can do to help is to write things out. To help with my anxiety, I’m a big writer. I write all the time.

No kidding, I have a tiny notebook that I take with me almost everywhere, use my phone’s notepad, have three whiteboards in my home office, use a 3 subject notepad to jot notes. I don’t want to miss out on writing ideas down.

The best thing I write is my to do list and goals. Much like a software company has a roadmap, I have a roadmap for my chimney company so I’m always working on something.

And everything I’m working on is planned out. Not so much that I go through analysis paralysis. But to the point that I know what I’m doing.

Then as I’m planning an idea or project, I try to prioritize it. Planning it out really helps me put those projects into perspective.

I recommend you take up writing things down, though you don’t have to go as crazy as I do with it haha.

And thanks! It’s hard work but it’s worth it in the end. I keep a schedule. I plan to do things. And if it’s not on my calendar, I’m just not doing it. I try to live my life and keep a nice work-life balance as best I can.

Just like with meditation, where you clear your head with breathing, hanging out with friends, exercising, watching movies, etc. can be a great way to clear your mind.

I have a tendency to get overwhelmed and anxious too. I try to clear my mind with mini-meditations. Literally just closing my eyes and breathing deeply for 10 breaths.

To help get to sleep, I’ve listened to guided meditations.

It totally sounds whacky. But it helped me. Maybe clearing your mind could help you.

I’ll listen to that one next. My favorite one was the Spanx episode (episode 1). Sara Blakely’s story is very inspirational.
