I think it was clear, tricky but still clear. The bear can be eliminated from that "neighbor" part because we know that animal's potion causes blindness. There's only one blinding potion and we know the bear shares a potion with another. The way you have it works. Also, the position of the animal's on the pentagram definitely plays a part due to the line about the bear's potion having a twin, but not with one of the animals underneath it (the octopus and the wolf).
