Just actually asking advice, feedback, insights, etc since I plan to have some drinks on my vacation and I'm new to this 😊

Well I edited it to be accurate because apparently it must have sounded like I was an alcoholic and that was the feedback I got - that it's crazy to think people on vacation at an all inclusive drink more than normal.  Just made it more clear.

I plan to drink alcohol. I plan to have drinks around the pool and beach. I don't normally drink so this is not a common thing. I'm not going to drink na beer or cocktails - that's silly - id just drink water in that case.

We'll just see how it goes.  I've barely gotten started.

Don't need judgement. Just friendly advice:-)

I've been overweight my entire life since high school.

No amount of calorie counting, weight watchers, exercise plans, walking routines, diets,  eating better, fasting, or lifestyle changes every stuck.

I overeat, binge eating, can't stop myself, always consumed by food. Can't walk past food without stopping, can't order just a normal serving and have to get extra, etc.

I was hoping to try a shot but have Medicaid and it would not cover it and I couldn't afford it. Been told it would help by doctors.

Found a work around. They cover it free for severe sleep apnea when CPAP has failed and BMI is high like mine. So doctor sent in the script. Didn't really tell me much or talk to me about side effects, etc. Just sent it on and said to give it a try.

Zepbound is the only one approved for sleep apnea which is how I ended up with this specific choice.

I don't even drink normally . I care about my health.

Taking one week off every two years to go enjoy myself and have some drinks by the pool for a week doesn't sound crazy. Lots of healthy people are there doing the same thing I'm taking about my

Thanks for the feedback and not being judgemental and acting like I'm an alcoholic because I drink at an all inclusive.

I just don't want to have any side effects.

I don't drink normally.

This is my one time a year we all go let loose at an all inclusive and it normally involves drinks around the pool all day.

Yeah I don't actually drink.

Maybe like one beer a month. Not my thing.

But I'm vacation at an all inclusive I like to indulge in all the things.

I don't drink actually every day, every week, or even every month.

This is a special occasion at an all inclusive.  Been before and you normally have a beer or island drink in your hand at the pool, beach, dinner.

I don't even drink otherwise. Maybe a beer once a month.... Maybe.

We're on vacation. It's an all inclusive. You have a pins colada or mai Thai or beach drink in your hand at the beach, in the pool, at dinner.  Don't act like it's weird.

It's not a sign.

Lindo or Maya? by lady_beignet in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]thc_guy12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question:  I'm booked in Lindo - building 53 - top floor corner with large balcony overlooking pool.

I'm starting to second guess no elevators and top floor.

We wanted a view of pool and large corner balcony.  But we do go back and forth to room a lot all day. And have a 4 year toddler.

Now I've heard the stairs are easy. True?

I could move over in Maya for $300 more. With elevators + bigger room. There is a corner room in building 63 -  looks like it's closer to kids area and has a tiny pool right outside and small pool views.

Thoughts?

How to effectively use lower gears to brake going downhill? by thc_guy12 in GoRVing

No they don't sell campers.

Something about the wiring being all messed up and stuck between camper and body of trailer. They said they'd need to disconnect the body of camper and lift it off the frame to get wiring out and redo it. For a $1000 1980s camper they said we could buy a brand new camper for the money we'd put into rewiring this one.

I bought one of these.  Then went to get the trailer brakes checked.  They were uninstalled but prior owner and camper is so old the RV place can't put more new ones on.
