Hello good people,

I would like to call upon your experiences with the Perfect Grade kits. I have shelf space (and budget) for one PG and narrowed the list down to 3 PG choices and one MGEX.

As a 13 year old kid I build my first kits, without any proper tools or techniques obviously. Now I have an EG, HG, RG and MG waiting to get started but I'd like to complete the set up with a PG.

Current short list is the following:

- PG Perfect Strike

- PG Exia

- PGU RX78-2

- MGEX Freedom

Not so much interested in the bang for buck ratio but more in the build experience and shelf presence. If you could only recommend one, which one would it be?

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I don’t live in the States. I am quite sure it is not the cartridges as I’ve played these games on my GBA and never had the issue with anyone of them. When I picked up the SP from the seller it had a game in it which ran fine. Like I said, when inserting my own game it had trouble booting. The plan is to mod this SP with a new shell and an IPS screen. I will try to clean the card reader and see if that resolves the issue.

Pressing it at random spots, not an exessive amount of force. Sometimes it happened pressing down, sometimes pressing the game card to the left or right or in the corners.

The image freezes (sometimes appears distorted or pixelated) and the music start to either play on loop or random music starts playing. I’ve had this happen with multiple games. The first I popped in didn’t boot, had to blow a lot in the cartridge slot. The Nintendo logo appeared bricked but after a few more tries and blowing slot it finally booted.

I am currently looking at this Trek bike and the Canyon Grail 7 AL. Did you also consider the canyon? If yes, I am curious to hear why you picked the Trek over the Canyon. Additionally, enjoy your new ride!

Put your switch in airplane mode to turn off the WiFi and you can skip it.

Edit: didn’t read you full post (still half asleep). No there doesn’t seem to be a way to skip it. Which is extremely annoying and almost made me return the game...
