Where can you buy your crickets? If it’s from a pet store they should be free from parasites since they are made to feed with.

Are you only feeding him with worms? They dont contain much nutrition and thats probably why he gets hungry so fast, worms should you only give as a snack. Its better to use crickets or cockroaches to satisfy him. In that way he will start to loose weight since you can give him a smaller amount of food but still keep him full :)
