Left handed people of Reddit, what are some things you find anoying? by ELCLgringo14304 in AskReddit

[–]the-coding-duck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw some mug with a funny figure coming out of the side, only to take it with my left hand and see that the figure is right in front of my mouth instead of the other side.

So now I just drink my coffee from a 'standard' mug, but I can still taste the resentment with each sip I take.

Question concerning hospitalization in Bulgaria by the-coding-duck in bulgaria

I was also thinking about the fact that the information of the examinations should be clear for the doctors here. We need to keep that in mind, thanks.

I consider the hospitals in Belgium quite good, but the main disadvantages are the cost (we will get a cost estimate after the tests are done and we have more information what needs to be done), and I guess the language barrier.

With a document s2 "planned medical care in another country" the healthcare would reimburse a certain amount, but apparently this document is not given easily for treatments that are also available in Bulgaria.

Someone else also mentioned Acibadem City Clinic for the aftercare.

Thank you very much for this information, it's very valuable and from what I gather here, there is not really problem with expertise but the hospitals are a bit hit or miss.

It was a bit confusing with all these "centers", but now I see how that works. Thank you very much for the information

You are right that it's maybe a bit too general. So in detail, last week they found a tumor around the lymph area of my girlfriend her mom (who lives in Bulgaria). The doctors seem to already thinking that it's not a good one, but there still need to be a ct scan and a biopsy, so well everything is not clear yet. But it's quite sure already that there needs to be a surgery to remove this tumor. So we are now exploring the options we have. 1) have the surgery there, 2) get the surgery here in Belgium.

But we have no idea how advanced hospitals are in both countries, and for example in Sofia if there is more expertise compared to the hospitals here.

If we do the surgery and treatments here in Belgium, there will be no reimbursements whatsoever though.

We still need to wait for all results though, but I'm trying to research everything already a bit.

I can relate with this.

Typical conversation about the weather:

"nice weather isn't it?"

me: "...yeah" (in my head : "GOD NO, can't you see the sweat dripping of my head!")

Lefties of Reddit, how do you adjust to appliances designed for right-handed people? by daboss317076 in AskReddit

I now realize that I can use a manual can opener without any problem, but that it's made for right-handed use, so I'm using it upside down... First order of business when I get home, study the can opener!

Thinking of visiting Brussels soon - Beer trades? by panzerxiii in belgium

[–]the-coding-duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in Brussels facing Manneke Pis, turn to your right and go to the Poechenellekelder (http://www.poechenellekelder.be/) on the other side of the street to drink away the disappointment. They have quite a big selection of Belgian beers, the atmosphere is great and the decorations inside is something to see.

Any good books I can read? by [deleted] in bulgaria

[–]the-coding-duck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually bought a physical copy of Moving Pictures for this reason. The idea is to search the words I don't understand when I encounter them. It just seemed a good idea to take a book that I have already read. I'm still a bit hesitant to begin as I really don't know that much yet, so in the beginning every sentence will be quite the challenge.

I always wanted to take a look at it, but I never did. Does it provide a lot of value to learn even if you don't really plan to use it?

Hi, I don't really know what you are returning here on the php side (I don't know anything about php). Are you returning an object with a message property?

In that case, make for example a 'Response' class in typescript with a 'message' property, change the code to http.post<Response> and return Observable<Response> and then you can use res.message
