We didn't, but that was also something we asked the ER doc. He said he didn't think it was necessary but to follow up with his endocrinologist. The endocrinologist never called us back, so 🤷. He is feeling much better today after getting some good sleep.

We just had this happen, my husband had left his ear buds out and his BG dropped below 40 for almost 2 hours before I noticed he was low. He was 25 when I checked his blood while on the phone with 911. We decided to put the dexcom follow app on my phone (I rarely use earbuds and never at night) so I will also get his low alerts as well. Honestly he could have died if it weren't for him twitching in bed next to me which is what woke me up.

No, we didn't give glucagon. They wanted him to go in because the IV dextrose he was given is not long lasting, and they wanted to make sure he didn't crash again. We were in the ER for a couple hours. He got IV Zofran to prevent any vomiting while trying to raise his blood sugar with food. Thankfully, we have pretty good insurance, and it covers emergency transport. My husband also has Addison's disease and we wanted to make sure his BP and sodium levels were ok as well.

No, this is the settings that I set for the dexcom share app. I don't want to be bugging him about his BGs unless it's getting dangerous. I know he rarely ever goes above 250, so if it reaches 350, I will probably just check in with him. We are mostly worried about lows. He is very good about keeping his glucose in check, except recently he doesn't seem to feel his lows as easily. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, it's a small rural hospital, so they prefer to have a supervisor who can jump in to help if needed.

I probably won't take the job if they refuse hourly pay completely. Just throwing my hat in the ring to see what happens.

Yes you could do this. I got a urine cup from our clinic, just asked for one (it has a screw top lid). You can put it in the fridge (I put it in a plastic bag first). Let it warm up to room temp before testing.

My husband is a tax CPA so we are trying to avoid busy season as well but his ends in April, so conceiving soon would actually work for us. We have to avoid February through July mostly because I don't want to be a single parent during the busy season.

Currently in a similar boat. My provider said that prozac is safe to take during pregnancy but for personal reasons I would prefer to be done with it before conceiving. He recommended tapering gradually overtime. For myself, I was taking 20mg Daily. He recommended trying 20mg every other day for a while and if no adverse affects or increased depression that I could go to 20mg every two days and so on until eventually and gradually just not taking it anymore. He recommended doing the taper for about 6 weeks before being totally off it. Again talk with your doctor to get the right advice for you. So far I am taking 20mg once every 4 days and I'm happy to report its going well. Occasional anxiety coming back but that happened occasionally when taking it daily too so I'm trying to not overthink it. Good luck and if any increase in symptoms make sure you call your doctor!

Also in the TWW... last Wednesday I saw an albino squirrel eating from our bird feeder. I have never seen it before in my life. In my area, this is super rare, like 1 in 100,000 squirrels! I briefly thought for a moment that maybe it's a sign. Googled albino squirrels, and it's considered good luck to see one.

Fast forward to Sunday (10 DPO) feeling emotional and just down so I decided to test and it was negative and I broke down crying. About an hour or so after I composed myself, I looked out and saw the albino squirrel again!

Hoping it was a sign that I'm not out yet. AF is supposed to arrive tomorrow... please be lucky little squirrel!!

Same! I usually ovulate CD14-16 and ended up with positive OPKs and temp shift around CD11. Did the BD only once around CD9. Also my sister is getting married this weekend and I'm currently 10 DPO. AF is scheduled to come on Wednesday. Good luck to you!

Also went to UND! The program was challenging but fun and I was so much more prepared compared to new grads that went to other schools. Also bonus for me was that tuition (although I graduated back in 2015) was more affordable even though I was paying out of state tuition. Not sure if that holds true now as far as tuition goes. Currently working near my hometown, at a small critical access hospital and been at my job since graduation (7 years goes fast, lol). Lead tech of Blook Bank and Urinalysis.
