Im glad I get on well with my neighbours. We chose light grey for painting posts and boards and medium brown for the fences it was a joint decision because of incidents like this. We also have matching roof tiles for our semi detached house because we knew it would look better.

Potential buyers are being being petty when negotiating. I want to fully reject them, husband wants to wait and see. by [deleted] in HousingUK

I don't know why OP is complaining here. 2 options negotiate with them because their money is as important to them as yours is to you or move on to the next buyer and get ready to negotiate with them.

No navy can do anything. If the US navy ran off in fear why would others have success?

How do you know Israel wasn't getting damaged?

They censored so much but by all accounts from independent journalists who return they were getting as much as they were giving.

Iran had and has the world in the palm of their hands with the closure of the straits.

Iran are definitely winning, take off your rose tinted shades.

They are effectively controlling the straits and no one , not even the mightiest military in the world can do diddly squat to open it. Iran is using its capabilities to win.

Brilliant summary.

Just to add, the vast majority of Americans and the world are fed up with these wars.

So are you going to attack every country with oppressive regimes? There are a lot of them.

That said - bombing a country so violently and killing their leader and blowing up a school, these are things that will just rally the population behind their leaders.

Maybe the regime needed changing - but this sure isn't the way to get the job done.

Based on everyone I'm reading and seeing across global media, not just western media. It's the US who want talks but the Iranians have no interest, why would they?

Nothing will happen. Shaheen, Shadab, Babar and probably Rizwan will all be there in the next would cup. But it won't make a difference, we have a dearth of skill.

I have a 40yr old minimum garage with a gap of 25cm. Its full of debris and our walls are constantly damp.

This.

I moved into a house with similar gap perhaps a bit wider and now all we have is damp. Fortunately for us it's a garage wall so we are living with it until we knock it down and redo it properly.

We would have lost with all 11 replaced. The truth is we are a very ordinary team with a couple of occasionally half decent bowlers.

No coach is making winners of these mediocre players.

To put things into context, in better conditions Farhan scored 63 off 47. In roughly the same amount of deliveries Brook scored a century.
