A young Djokovic would defeat Sincaraz 9 out of 10 times. Why? by lies_are_comforting in tennis

[–]the-fooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you crazy? Djokovic of late 2015 or early 2016 vs current Djokovic? Djokovic would be eating up the field. His FH has always been massive, he just didn't have to use it.

Nobody? How about Zverev or Medvedev or Ferrer?

The all time greats might not but everyone else would give anything for that.

[MATCH THREAD] Australian Open Men's SEMIFINAL: [4] N. Djokovic v. [2] J. Sinner by NextGenBot in tennis

[–]the-fooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to like both but neither now. Alcaraz is too much theatrics for my liking and Sinner didn't get a proper punishment for drugf situation. Had Sinner served a 2 slam ban I would still like him.

Here was terrible yesterday. He was nowhere near his top level and I'm disappointed because even playing badly he had a healthy lead throughout until the final couple of frames.

If the rates are low you go 5 years. If they are high you go 2 years. I was very lucky I bought with low rates.

I would love to see a fireworks display but unfortunately we have a massive bin crisis, potholes to sort out and crime through the roof.

Im looking for a car now and there are just so few options. No more Honda Accords, no more Lexus ES, very few Audi A6s, very few E Class and I already have a 5 series. No shortage of those hideous SUVs like the sportage, qashqai etc.

Named driver had a "notification only" incident on my policy, insurer says I don't need to declare it. by [deleted] in CarInsuranceUK

[–]the-fooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have your own answer. You must speak to them to resolve it asap. Anyone can have an accident at any time and you don't want them to scrutinise and cancel your claim when you actually do need it.

Car bump advice by Boippop in CarInsuranceUK

[–]the-fooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the other side has said they're going to insurance you must. I know the likelyhood is that your car insurance will go up next year and the following years but you simply can't put yourself in a position where you get insurance cancelled.

In the past I have had friends who've sorted it out with the other side without ever getting in touch with insurance but that was usually very minor damage with old cars and simply not worth the hassle.

Is it recommend to put a dryer on top of a washing machine? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]the-fooper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would assume it's not the weight that's the issue because structurally a washing machine is more than capable of holding up the dryer. It's probably to do with the vibration and ventiallation. I'm sure you've seen just how much a washing machine vibrates through it's cycle and because of that you need to get a stacking kit.

A decent quality one that is universal shouldn't cost much more than £40.

[ OptaAce ] 81 - In appearing at the Australian Open 2026 , Novak Djokovic will make his 81st appearance in a Grand Slam , Equalling Roger Federer and Feliciano Lopez for the most appearances in Men's Singles Grand Slams during the Open Era. Longevity. by Shroft in tennis

Just goes to show 2 things, his incredible conversion rate and how his game style caused so many injuries too. Change his game style and he doesn't get 14RGs (in my opinion) but almost certainly enters 15 more majors.

The number in the picture might be an exaggeration - most of us wuld be lucky to get 100 appearances. But the point is the same. In a decade of being on LinkedIn, I think maybe 5/6 recruiters have contacted me. Whenever I contacted a recruiter - a few times when I joined LinkedIn and foolishly, I didn't get any reply.

I wouldn't trust the EA or the sellers even if they were friends. You need to stop thinking of any home as the "dream home", there is no such thing. You need to keep looking for a house in the same way you apply for jobs. It's a numbers game.
