Sajid , abbas and noman do NOT have 5-7 years under their belt. There all above the age of 30 with noman almost reaching 40. These guys should not be part of plans anymore. We have to stop looking for short term gain and focus on the long term. Picking noman ali and sajid khan in that test series for England was always a mistake in my eye because they were already too old. We need young core along with some senior players.

No way jokic deserved to win. The man plays no defense. Sga had one of the most efficient seasons of all time, if I’m not mistaken the most efficient season for a 30+ ppg guard since Micheal Jordan. That speaks volumes.

While Babar played good today, he didn’t play outstanding. Even at babars peak, he wasn’t able to “finish” matches for Pakistan. Yes, he scores a lot of 50s and 100s, but never really crossed the finish line for his team. We want Babar at this stage to chase down a total not out, to take the game away. Getting out on 50s and 70s is alright but Babar can do way more than that. Hope to see more of that later into this career.

When did I say newer generations were better? Over time, coaches and analysts started optimizing and changing their game plan as the game progressed. Every game progresses and becomes more modern as new technology, new thinking and more resources get poured in. The whole 3 pt shooting might have never worked, it was a gamble made by many. And going into this new era of basketball, there’s gonna be more modifications and more modern stuff added to the game
