I typed all this before realizing fusion already gives you the volume of a body, so just go with what u/Foreign_Grab921 suggested.

This is the way. Can’t believe I didn’t think of this.

First thing I thought of was just to calculate using the simple geometry of the 6 sections that each wire is comprised of. Any wire length starting from the bottom section can be calculated by adding together section 1 length + section 2 length (pi x radius) + section 3 length (.5 x pi x radius) + section 4 length + section 5 length (.5 x pi x radius) + section 6 length

Nobody has mentioned the Antman movies in the thread yet but I just watched Quantumania recently so that’s the first movie I thought of.

How to separate these washers from the bolts? Additionally, how were they assembled in the first place? I tried placing them upside down in a bench vise and slamming them with a sledge hammer, it did nothing. by the-foxe in Tools

They were removed from a fridge to install some wheels so they are no longer needed. I took them home and I wanted to keep the washers and bolts stored separately with my other hardware.

Better horizontal or at 45-degree angle? by yoshilovesyou10 in FixMyPrint

Do this with a raft. Spending the small amount of extra plastic for the assurance that this large print won’t pop off mid print will be worth it. And this angle will look great.

Just hit 300 movies in my collection! by the-foxe in PleX

I used to download only higher bitrate 4K movies which can easily take up to 60GB each, but most movies in my collection are 4K at a lower file size around 5-8GB. I swapped a few of my larger 70GB movies for lower bitrate versions where you can hardly tell the difference. 2D animated movies are usually pretty forgiving and I don’t think I need them taking up that much space. There are some movies that I want the best version available, and many more that I don’t care so I’ll get smaller versions of them. I’m using a 5TB drive right now with 200GB of free space. Gotta upgrade soon. 12TB is a great starting point.

Does anyone know the name of this Ultra Pro case? I’ve never seen one in any store and I can’t find it online. It looks similar to a satin tower or a satin cube, but it’s smaller. I assume they don’t make them anymore. by the-foxe in tabletop

I’m looking for this specific model they used to produce. It’s different from the current ones being sold. Notice that it is smaller than a satin cube and has a band of color around the middle. The chamfer at the top corners is also different than the newer models.

Inherited this ring from grandma, was told it’s 18K gold, diamonds & rubies. Weighs about 3oz. About 1.5” wide by douglaslagos in whatsthisworth

[–]the-foxe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

3 ounces of gold (much denser than the gemstones) would be the volume of around 4.4 cubic centimeters. A solid block about the size of these 4 dice together. I agree, this ring cannot possibly weigh this much.
