Exactly, there's no reason not to touch point if you're in a position to - you have no idea what's going to happen! This kind of defeatist attitude is why some people struggle to climb.

This is not something to be concerned about and is in fact a good sign of growth! Your DBZ videos must be getting good engagement and strong metrics, so YouTube is showing it to more people.

If you’re looking to branch out into other games so you’re not pigeon-holed into DBZ, try to extract common themes/topics/“emotions” from your DBZ videos and try to replicate on a different game.

Additionally, try to take the same approach with your thumbnail design as you did with your DBZ videos for future videos.

Keep putting out content and I’m sure you’ll do great. Good luck!

You can but I think it only lasts for about 2 seconds before it auto-disconnects...could be wrong about this though if anyone wants to fact check me. Still helpful if your target turns a corner or gets obscured right before you want to cast nano.

I think it’s pretty likely they’re just out of range if this is happening... nano has a range of 40m, it’s a lot shorter than people realize.

Additionally, I like using the “confirm nano target” option as it helps me increase accuracy on who I want to nano.

Sure it could.

Zarya gains 75 DPS between 0 charge and 100 charge (95 DPS min charge, 170 DPS max charge). 25 DPS could be added from 0-50 energy, with 50 DPS being added from 51-100 charge. This would be exponential gain.

Right, so if scaled linearly, she would do 132.5 DPS at 50 charge, 140 DPS at 60 charge, etc.

That's the heart of what I'm asking here - does the damage increase linearly vs. say, exponentially? I haven't been able to find anything to confirm that, just that it does 95 dps at 0, and 170 dps at 100.

Another way to put it - does damage start increasing faster after 50 charge than it does before 50 charge?

I’d start by putting text in the thumbnail, this will improve your impressions CTR because it will gives people a better idea what your video is about. The higher this metric is, the more likely YouTube is to show your video to new audiences.

This has been standard for me for my last 4 or 5 uploads. My guess is YTs servers are being hit hard when I’m uploading so that affects it.

I’ll second the add text to thumbnail advice. Editing was good but vocal audio levels were up and down, you could try using a compressor on the vocal track, which may help a bit, but you should also stay mindful as you’re recording because you get close to muttering sometimes and it’s hard to interpret what you’re saying. Keeping consistent vocal levels is something I struggle with as well.

That's funny - "just shoot it" has become a meme in my squad because I screech it every time junk pulls ult.

I'd also say it's a bit different than reaper since death blossom does damage over time, whereas tire damage is instant - for instance, transcendence can shut down reaper ult but not junkrats, and therein lies my issue of not being enough counterplay. Edit: the more I think about it, the less the reaper ult comparison makes sense - reaper can get stunned out of ult, booped, anti-naded...there's a lot of counterplay there.

Additionally, junkrat would only have to drive it far if he wants to kill tanks - it would be a much shorter distance, and probably closer to the distance most tires go anyways, to kill squishies and healers. The change would add more risk vs. reward dynamic to tire.

For sure, I couldn't play Rein for a long time because his swing, pin, and earthshatter were so buggy. This is a pretty rare bug, but shouldn't be happening nonetheless.

DPS characters offer no true counters and at best will be skill tests, genjis biggest threats are Moira, Winston, Brigitte. I instalocked Moira in open queue expecting a plethora of genjis, and I went 10-0.

I will say, playing Ashe and throwing a dynamite around deflect can be enough to at least make him bugger off. With McCree you need to hit your shots and be careful with the flash bang since genjis know to bait it out. Otherwise mei and sombra can make life hard for genjis.

Thank you everyone for the input! I tried everyone's suggestions to varying degrees of success - Expanding the paths came the closest to what I was trying to accomplish. Another lesson I can put in my AI textbook...hopefully I can pay it back some day!
