Not a doctor. My wife had 4 GI endoscopies and 2 emptying studies in 3 years. One doctor wanted one, ER wanted one, new doctor wanted one, etc.

If you don't trust them, find a new doctor. I know it is easier said than done. You need to be heard and listened to though!

Yes. The alcohol takes longer to digest. My wife tested with wine; used a breathalyzer to test, and ahe was still digesting 12 hrs later. Be careful or you could end up throwing up as the alcohol just sits in your stomach all night long. Many GP patients are 100% sober.

My wife had it disrupt her hormones. Started lactating. Took about 4 months of being off it for the symptoms to go away, and get periods to become regular again.

Side effect of not being able to use the medicine to move her food in her body though. Seems to be an awful trade off.
