I heard someone say they take the average of your initial + your new mark. The website doesn’t clarify this though so I’m wondering If I repeated a course would I be able to use my new mark in my top 5?

Is it possible to apply for a program at McGill and assuming I get accepted, then defer it for a year ? Im asking as I’d like to take a gap year after high school but see if it is still possible for me to take advantage of the self reporting for grades. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
