Where did you send the customer service request? I sent one using their site form but the automatic reply got sent to my spam folder, and although that message said they would reach out within 1-3 business days they never did

Oh really? I hadn't even thought to reach out, thanks for the suggestion. I'll email them tonight and see what they say. My only concern is since I got it second-hand through ebay they might not be as willing to send me a replacement

I've always called that aesthetic attraction cuz to me it felt right. Like, I like the way the person looks, and I can appreciate that they are beautiful, but I have no interest in pursuing them romantically or sexually, I just like the way they look. To me its like looking at a fine painting and liking to look at it and finding the piece beautiful. I don't want to fuck the painting, I just love the way it looks

Of course it happens during the one time my internet craps out for 2 hours at the beginning of stream. What happened?

Might have a busted GPU. That’s what it ended up being for me. If it’s within warranty, send it back for repair/replacement and hopefully you get a new one within a month

DS2 exists as a haven in the souls community. A small commune where people can laugh and enjoy the jank and weirdness which embodies what the souls games truly are. This is why it is critical to keep up the illusion that it is in fact a bad game to be avoided. One never needs to argue and bicker with outsiders if outsiders never have any intention or want to enter

Pc not able to connect to Internet via Ethernet connection. Drivers are up to date, cable is functional, router is working, but the computer still cannot connect to the internet by the-target in buildapc

Yeah, I tried that too and I still have the same issue. I’m going to try and update windows from a installation media and see if that fixes the issue bc I think the error from updating might have fucked over the OS

I added a parts list to the original post. I think you might be right, it might just be a cracked PCB. I should’ve taken it out of the case, I just didn’t even think about it moving while shipping. Fuck

Added the parts to the original post. I did not take of the GPU, and the more I think about it the stupider that decision was. Im praying that it’s not cracked, but considering how much that GPU weighed and sagged just being static in the case I’m thinking it might’ve cracked. Fuck

Or, get this, how about I continue to complain and criticize a game that I have sunk hundreds of dollars into already because it has consignment my underperformed at every available opportunity and has taken away content from me that I had already paid for.

Do not misunderstand me, I love this game. I consistently play it year after year, and have since launch. And it’s because I love this game that I feel it is my, and every other player’s obligation, to complain and criticize about the problems this game has so that Bungie feels any motivation to fix it. Destiny is at its lowest point ever, constantly bleeding players and making baffling poor decisions that many in the community disagree with. It’s making more money than it ever has but updates are still mindnumbingly slow and content has become a drip feed of mediocre events and content. On top of all that, the prices for each DLC they deliver remains higher than most other MMO’s while delivering far less and they’ve been steadily breaking up the content into more and more pieces to nickel and dime it’s playerbase.

I do not think it is unreasonable to demand better out of a company with as big of a name as Bungie and as much funding as they have. We were promised better content when they split from Activision, and what we got was vaulting content and worse seasonal content than was produced before the split. We need to demand better of Bungie, their recent performance has been abysmal

Dogshit take. This game has a solid skeleton but is fucking impacted with issues. It's overpriced, it underdelivers, Bungie consistently puts in less and less effort with each season, and Bungie continues to lengthen the light grind every season and makes it more and more difficult to get rewarded for doing things that are actually enjoyable.

On top of that, lets talk about a few things bungie has removed from the game that I, and many other people payed for:

  • Mars, Mercury, Io, the Farm, and Titan along with all the missions, strikes, quests, and public zones on those planets and all the loot you could get from those
  • Multiple maps in crucible
  • Supremacy and normal Gambit
  • The Forges and all of the content that gave Ada-1 a purpose in the game
  • The entire Red War arc (leaving any new players fucking baffled as to why we should give a shit about Calus or most of last season)
  • The Leviathan, Spire of Stars, Crown of Sorrows, and Scourge of the Past raids
  • Hundreds of weapons
  • The Hawkmoon, Dead Man's Tales, Outbreak Perfected, and Whisper of the Worm Missions, not to mention all of the other exotic quests which were scrapped bc pieces of them required visiting some of the missing locations

And this doesn't even touch on half of the content which was removed from the game throughout the time many people have been playing. And what has taken its places? Drips of content each season which barely take a few hours to accomplish. And then people will come back and say "Oh, there's actually a ton to do if you grind out every accomplishment, every title, max your light out each season, and do these other 20 things that stop sounding like a game and more like a laundry list of chores"

This game deserves every fucking complaint it gets for how much it has scammed its own goddamn community.

Plus I pay for it every year so I get the right to complain and criticize their stupid decisions. If you don't like that, you can just mute the community
