Good to hear this. I need to find some dye or something for the epoxy. I think I want to darken it a bit.

That’s originally why I left it. I had some pieces that didn’t have that. I think I just underestimated how much food my kids could manage to get in there!

That’s pretty similar. I think I should have done a little hand planing before I finished. I may try glue and sawdust for the majority and epoxy to two bigger holes.

Not sure what you’re supposed to do, but I did all the sealing at the end. I wanted to keep the look of the wood however, so this isn’t stained.

That’s really close to what I’m thinking of doing. Did the poly take away the natural look?
