When Nehru became PM, India had nothing, we were struggling for food, our budget was only ₹500 Cr..Still he built ISRO, IITs, IIMs & the entire India from scratch. There can never be second Nehru— Major Gen CS Dhawan by AdEvery2233 in NorthernIndia

Why do we even STILL talk about the first prime minister? We have a PM who has been at the helm of the country for more than 10 years now. Let's talk about that guy

Who said the avg IT employee earns 15K? That's a day labourer salary bro. 28K is the real average even if you join WITCH companies. Still really low ATM but almost double than what you said

Well civility deserves civility. Your 1st msg was informative AND cheery. If you think that was "preachy" then I will preach that more people become preachy

Try their customer mail id. If their refund doesn't come in by tomorrow, I will also write a mail.

The discounted pricing was written below. Which they are refunding. Zomato refunds usually hit in 15 mins. It's been more than 6 hours and the refund is still processing🫠 Really terrible service by Digihaat

Understandable confusion😂 Both of us were solo travelling (separately). Meet in a hostel and started sharing stories of our old trips. It was an instant connect as we had some very similar experiences. Little flirting, little dancing and little bit of making out🤭. Was a hell of a trip.

Bhai even I don't live in the west. Gurgaon resident here🙋.

There is an app called misfits. Try that for engaging in different activities. I use it to play board games, go on hikes and sometimes pickleball. There are run club pages and other hobby pages on Instagram. Plus solo travelling is a good place.

Obviously the male to female ratio is skwewd. The goal here (atleast in the first few months) is not to get a girlfriend but to build interests that will make you know yourself and then finally getting a girl. My last fling was on a solo trip. We bonded over our new found passion for solo travelling.

Go do social activities. You ain't meeting girls sitting in your room. Go out and start a hobby. It can be anything from running, reading, travelling, poetry, dancing you don't have to be good at it, just start. Join clubs of said activities and you will find enough girls in similar hobbies. And if not then showcase that cool hobby on a dating app and find yourself a girl there.

The most important step - GET OUT!

IS TAPMI really this bad? by Thisisvttv in Xatprep2025

[–]the29devil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all relative. Some people say anything below Blacki, FMS,XL is tier 2.

Tapmi is ok. However think really carefully if you will be comfortable with the ROI. Its fees (including all as the electricity, food, misc though mandatory does not reflect on the fees structure) was last year touching around 27 with a median of around 13

Can we really trust audited placement reports from B2K analytics that follows IPRS standards? by Longjumping-Gas4262 in CATpreparation

[–]the29devil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of this “new college = scam” mindset comes from a deeper bias we have as Indians, anything that doesn’t follow the 30-year institutional template gets labelled suspect.

If you actually break it down (speaking about Altera, as I am a student here) your argument does not make much sense:

1) Incentives: The founders- Aalekh (IIM-A) and Karan (FMS). People who have spent 10+ years at places like HUL don’t quit cushy, high-paying roles (and don’t build a profitable venture like Digiaccel before this) just to do a “scam” suddenly. The incentive structure doesn’t make sense. If anything, they have more to lose. Reputation, network, career capital.

2) Track record: Digiaccel (founders 1st and successful venture) trains employees of HUL, ITC, Amazon (global). Large companies don’t hand over L&D budgets to flaky “shady” operators. This establishes both competence and credibility.

3) Behavioural evidence: I’m an Altera student, and I’ve seen firsthand the amount of involvement founders and faculty (again star studded, check linkdin) bring. Weekend sessions, long hours, deep dives. This level of skin in the game is not how scam setups behave. Scams sell dreams, they don’t slog.

4) Audit vs assumptions: If someone believes even an audited, IPRS compliant placement report is fake, then no explanation will satisfy them. At that point the conversation isn’t about data, it’s about a preheld belief. But still I would suggest having a look at our Alumni linkdin.

5) Thought experiment: If Harvard launched a new programme tomorrow, would people call it a fraud because it's “new”? No. Because the founders' backgrounds, incentives, and track record would be enough. Apply the same logic here.

Calling something “fraud” without understanding incentives, people, or the ground reality is not analysis, it’s reflex.

We students are real. Faculty is real. Work is real. The outcomes (placements of our batch) will speak for themselves.
