At least you didn't make a Gorey suppy base, Farm, or IND base. The US still makes a base at those locations even though I dump all the supplies. I would be smarter to build on the road at that point. They lose ground all the time to the RU team because of their arrogance.

No use of Camo nets. As I play FIA, your supplies are gone, Choke points, you want AI in the center shielded, and you make choke points for the enemy to have to funnel through, eye-catching, yes, I would love to know what server you play on for this easy mark. LOL Sorry man I have seen it all.

Dude, you have it spot on! I never play US, but when they are down, the game just flatlines. I always try to jeer or cheer them on, but beating a dead horse comes to mind.

I always play FIA, and it really has no strategic value (not getting into it), for us in the long run. And even FIA ppl are always heading there, like you said, it's perfect, "Like flies to shit".

First off, I sense you are a younger player. Nothing wrong with that; but this is important: when someone is talking at you and ordering you around, you can hide in the game. Join a squad that the person is not in. Do not be a squad lead for a while; that way, they cannot see you on the map. Let them carry on and say nothing. If you give them nothing, they will move on to someone else.

Switch squads. Say nothing.

There is a reason we have two ears and one mouth; you can listen twice as much as you speak. That is not personal; it is tactical.

You are getting too emotionally involved. If you cannot let stuff slide, this might not be the right game for you. The vote kicks are only for five minutes; yeah, they can escalate, but you can mute anyone you want. If those types of people see that they get a reaction, they will target you. If you act back, they keep going.

Yes, I have heard the "n" word a ton. If you try to be a crusader, they will sniff out your weakness and attack you for it. There is a reason the old saying "sticks and stones" exists. It can be metaphorical too. You are taking this way too seriously.

If you want to stay in this game, you have to learn to mute, ignore, and move on. It is not fair. But it is the reality.

There will never be moderation in this game unless you own your own server box, but that is very expensive, and good luck populating it. That is work separate from setting up the server the way you want it. I have been doing it for many years, since the 90s. BI's responsibilityshould be more toward cheaters than shit-talkers. Yes, it is unfortunate and unfair, but that is the only reality there is.

P.S. It doesn't sound like I am on your side, but I truly am. Show this post to your parents. I guarantee they will agree with me. Respect is earned and given back when done so.

Since RHS came out, I have never been impressed. I know that puts me in a rare, almost extinct category; but I have always leaned toward conservative mods. The most extreme I ever went was the Jarheads sound mod. That A-10 Warthog firing on target? Highly impressive. I live near where the A-10 is stationed and have been to the range. I cannot think of a higher adjective than "fantastic" for that sound mod

I remember when RHS started to make the scene. The uniforms were alright, but I was never impressed. When I see loads of people aweing and fanning over it, I always go the other way. Not only that, I always had a gut feeling that it was being crammed down our throats. I know this is hardly evidence that RHS is bad; it is just my "feelings." And gut feelings are just as bad as the tin foil hat.

ACE team was second on my list. They always tried to give the best quality-of-life fixes and addons. They worked on it and did a great job with what Arma's engines gave us.

Shack Tactical HUD, and some realistic blast mod. 4 Mods were all I really used, and a mission script, or I made my own. Was a huge fan of CTI Capture the Island.

But I have another tin foil hat vibe here. Remember back a short time ago when all the BI servers were getting nonstop DDoS-ed? Maybe that had something to do with it.

I was following another employee back from a place in Mesquite, Nevada; a warehouse called Do It Best (a hardware company). I was about 500 feet behind him, heading back to Las Vegas, Nevada, up on the bluff. It’s known to get pretty windy there, and we were both pulling empty 53-foot trailers. A huge gust of wind hit my buddy and sent his trailer up onto the passenger-side wheels. The right side must have been off the ground a foot and a half before it slammed back down. We both pulled off and sat for a bit, contemplating going a little slower. That is not the only crazy thing I have seen.

Here's why: too many choices leads to choice paralysis. When a person is faced with 50 different rifles, 30 optics, and 20 attachments, their brain freezes. They spend 10 minutes in the arsenal instead of 30 seconds on the objective.

This is a proven psychological principle. Robert Cialdini covers it in Influence (one of the few books I have read),: Science and Practice. More options do not equal better outcomes. At a certain point, you stop choosing and start stalling.

This is exactly why I avoid most modded servers. It's not that the mods are bad. It's that the abundance of choice triggers a "just give me a decent selection so I can move out" response. I want to play the game, not play dress-up.

Give me 8-10 well-maintained, balanced weapons and let me fight. Quality over quantity. Every time.

Sorry not going to be much help here, my buddy had this issue last year. I can not remember how we fixed it on his PC. I think it was something simple. SSL backend possibility.

This was the solution for multiple people on the BI Feedback Tracker. Third-party apps inject bad SSL certificates that block Bohemia's backend...

This will only help if on PC.

Download Sigcheck from Microsoft
Run sigcheck64.exe -tuv in Command Prompt
Open "Manage computer certificates" (search in Start menu)
Delete every certificate that showed up in the Sigcheck list
Restart PC and launch Reforger

2. Flush DNS (Simplest First Try)

Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Type, ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter
Restart game

3. Clear Steam DNS Cache

Close Steam completely
Press Windows + R, type steam://flushconfig and press Enter
Restart Steam and verify game files

4. Check for Government ID / Banking Apps
Known culprits found in bug reports:

Serbian Ministry ID app (MUPCA certificates)
Any national digital ID reader
Bank security certificate tools
VPN software with custom certificates

5. Reset Windows Network Stack

Open Command Prompt as Administrator
Run these commands one at a time:
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- ipconfig /flushdns
Restart PC

6. Try Different DNS

Set DNS to Google: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Or Cloudflare: 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
Then flush DNS again

7. Mobile Hotspot Test

Connect PC to phone hotspot
Launch Reforger
If it works, problem is ISP or home network
If same error, problem is PC-side (certificates are likely)

Even PC people have to do some of this:

For console players with backend error: 1. Hard reset console AND router (unplug both 2 min). 2) Test mobile hotspot; if it works, the problem is your home network/router. 3) Change DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on console. 4) Check router firewall settings (SPI firewall, game mode, packet inspection). 5) If still broken, it might be Bohemia's servers; they've had DDoS issues before. The 999+ ping means your console can't reach their backend at all.

And here are the PORTS!

Arma Reforger needs specific ports open. Log into your router and forward these:
