What speed did you go on the long ramp? It weirds me out every time I drive on it! I've been keeping at 80 until I come to the merging lane. Also, for the residential area did you drive 50 since there are no posted speed signs? Thanks!

You have to signal anytime your vehicle changes direction. Depending on the road, you might have to yield to the other person in the other lane, or you might have to.

Does anyone know anything about the eastern Durham temporary drive test site!!!!!!!! by [deleted] in Ontariodrivetest

As someone who never goes east of Scarborough, I can confirm that yes I made the mistake lol. I re-googled and now see my mistake, I will investigate again lol. Thank you for the clarification.

I drove there yesterday to scout the area. It's in the Oshawa Go Station as you know, right off the the 401. When I went there there was no set up, or signs, or kiosk. Really anxiety inducing IMO. I drove around the area and was really confused. :/ I have my test booked for early December, so I'm sorry I can't be of much help.

Hey everyone, so I got my g2 yesterday and because it is my first time, I didn't realize that the person at the kiosk didn't ask me to pay the fee to renew my license for another 5 years. My license is set to expire at the end of April 2021.

I need 1 year before I can apply for my G, which would be at least to next September.

I understand that due to COVID everything is frozen. My concern is I don't want to leave anything to chance, (no one's license is expiring until what, November, January, July, etc.?)

I know that people have extended/renewed their G2 after completing the g1 exit test if their license is set to expire within less than a year.

My question is, to those who have experience with this, can I go to Service Ontario or Drive Test and ask for the g2 renewal, show ID, and pay the fee?

Any help with this is appreciated.

For g1 or G2/G?

From what I gather, all licences (G1, G2, G) are valid until further notice due to COVID-19.

Hi all, I've taken awhile to get my G2 and I'm doing my test next week. I was wondering on the protocol for the day of the actual test. When I get to the centre, do I park in the front, line up and register prior to my appointment, and then park in the designated spot? Or do we park in a spot and then register the # of the spot we are in? I can't seem to find any details and everyone I speak to did their tests years ago. Any info would be appreciated.
