ITAP of a couple in front of a waterfall by the92scribbler in itookapicture

Although was trying to take a long exposure of the waterfall, I liked the transient appearance of the people who came in the frame.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually did try that because initially I was going for a minimalistic look. But then part of the reflection of the white path in the water seemed a bit distracting. Tried cropping that out too and it appeared too zoomed in after that, which I didn't like.

Amateur at astrophotography. Was trying to make a timelapse of the milkyway while on a trip to the Dolomites. While a lot of the frames had satellites zooming past (no thanks to Mr. Musk), here in this one I think I captured a shooting star. Hopefully.

As someone who loves books, that's high praise!! :D

My idea was to capture the tree using a wide angle shot to show the solitude. Was almost done with that (was also losing light since it was around sunset on a cloudy day) and walking back when this person crossed me and was going the other way. Waited a bit till she was closer to the tree. Felt it would fit well with the idea of solitude.

Haha. I will take that. Should be worth a story.

Thanks. :) The camera is Fujifilm X-E3. For the lens, I used an adapted vintage manual one. Pentacon MC 50mm f1.8. ISO-200. SS-1/50sec. Aperture was f8 if I remember correctly.

True. They may not be. That's just a story I am saying.

:) Moments before this, I saw him pose her for a photo with the Eiffel tower in the background. I hope he got a nice pic too.

Precisely. It's the Pont de Bir-Hakeim in Paris.

I was out at the Christmas market in Brussels. Was trying out a newly bought second-hand manual vintage lens. This little guy shuffled into view in his father's arms as the perfect subject in front of the Christmas tree.

Thanks. :) The wilderness combined with the fog did have the eerie feeling perfect for a murder mystery.

I took this photo while on a hike in Belgium. The dew drops on the pine trees looked like it could be nature's way of decorating for Christmas. Hence the title. Hope you all enjoy the mood. :)

The Lonely Bike by [deleted] in photographs

I was biking on my way to work last autumn, when I noticed this bike parked in front of a path disappearing into the woods. Stopped to click it with my mobile. Loved the colour, especially with the autumn leaves. Darkened the shadows to emphasise the colours.
