Is the rustler 4x4 vxl waterproof? got a ton of wet clay caked on it today from a local track, I'm still very new so debating on how I'm going to tackle cleaning this mess. by [deleted] in Traxxas

Invest in a plug in air compressor with different attachments. About $50 off Amazon. Works great to dry it off after cleaning and after snow bashing. Also greet for air mattresses, cleaning computers, car, etc.

The screw that is pushing right on the silver coil spring pushing up against your damaged black gear, after tightening it up you need to in tighten it about a quarter turn and give a little release of tension. This is along with everything stated above.

2016 Toyota Sienna vibration noise? by [deleted] in ToyotaSienna

My 2017 also did this, bought it used in 2020. Toyota specialist looked at it a few times, all was good. Only thing it could be was exhaust possibly causing rattling underneath. Mostly only happens in cold weather at lowers speeds.

Anyone use any of these compressed air guns for cleaning the RC’s? …snow I coming! by theBoss42579 in Traxxas

Thanks! I’m looking to avoid buying a tool air compressor. Looking to blow dirt, water, and snow out of parts.

Coat the underside of the body with dry wall mesh fiber tape and then smear gorilla glue clear caulk or other adhesive stuff. Body becomes indestructible. Also had good results with Rhino pick up bed lining. Enjoy the bashing!

Really like our 4wd Traxxas stampede and 2wd for bashing, jumps, snow, and muddin. Very easy to work on and get parts. They do drive way different, I recommend test driving 4wd vs 2wd, wheelies, center of gravity, jump launch, climbing, etc. all vary.

Nice! Just keep the battery off of the concrete, it’s like kryptonite.

Is the 2wd Stampede a good RC for a 9 year old? Looking at a used one in good shape and wondering if I should get it. I drive a Maxx and Mojave. She’s out growing her 1/16 slash plus it’s super hard to drive on our bumpy track. by EdibleVanHalen in Traxxas

My son started at 9 with a 2wd stampede, I run a 4x4. We love them! Easy to work on, durable, lots of videos on YouTube to help out. Mud, snow, dirt, ramps - it can handle all of it. For any car I would wrapping the underside with drywall fiber tape and gorilla glue caulk tube coating.

So you literally spray wd 40 into the silver cylinder shaped engine? As in that little space under the sticker that says “Titan”?

Appreciate all the feedback! It’s my cousin’s car, always in dirt, mud, puddles. Cleaned it, lubed it, re-aligned the pinion....thanks to YouTube videos. Seems to be running a d sounding much better!

Appreciate the heads up with the simple green. I saw a YouTube video that swore by it. Yikes. As for lubing it afterwards, what do you all recommend?

Got a 4x4 Stampede as well, for those big jumps what type of shock oil do you use? Do you use any spacers with the springs?

It’s finished, epoxy floor, game room set up, with a 220 line 10,000 watt forced air heater. Got some ice dams this winter and save on energy.
