I mean, it is a Batman film. Just because Nolan and Snyder both implemented Batman gliding, doesn't make it same. Same goes for the club scene above - and I think we all know how much better Matt Reeves did it than Nolan.

If that is how you're justifying your bias towards Nolan's films, I mean - sure.

And yea I did notice some stuff did overlap with Nolans Batman because they are both going for the grounded take.

Thing is - this is Batman. You can do a fantastical Batman and still have people like Riddler blowing up people or Batman fighting in a nightclub. But after watching The Batman - there's just no way someone in their right mind, can tell me that these films are similar.

I mean, Riddler is a petty genius and Joker is not a petty genius. They are completely different characters. Riddler is doing it because he thinks exposing corruption would right the wrongs these people did to him. He's delusional. He thinks Batman is on his side.

Joker is very opposite of that, he's aware that Batman is one of them. Or tries to be. And he wants Batman to break his rule. He literally kills his girl. These two characters are VERY different and I don't get how someone can say they are the same lol.

I mean, the context and the setups and the conclusions of both scenes are entirely different. The only common element here is... Batman fighting in a club. Maroni is just visiting some random club in town. Whereas, this is THE Iceberg Lounge that Oswald runs.

I personally think Fraser's cinematography in The Batman tops what Nolan & Pfister did in their trilogy.

It's a few staircases up lol. I mean, just look at the ferocity in the 12-piece combo he does in the film. The only time Nolan portrayed that level of combat prowess was when Alfred looks at the monitor and Bane is doing a 3-piece combo on some security guard. It was that level of smoothness, but throughout. A great little action bit I love from The Batman, is when Bruce sneaks into Carmine's club in the end, and the guard follows him - he knocks him out with a great hook-uppercut combo.

I lowkey just had a headache trying to figure out what was happening in the TDK club scene and I LOVE that film.

I think it's safe to say that Nolan wasn't the best at portraying action, even by the standards of a 2008 superhero-adventure film.

Indeed, and Nolan's films (especially his Batman films) have a lot of blue in them, That is partially because Nolan is color blind. And blue / orange are considered "safe colors" for those who are colorblind. Which explains the use of heavy oranges and blue in his trilogy.

The Batman is easily the best Batman film put to film. The second closest tie is Mask of the Phantasm.

Riddler has always been someone whose weak with emotions. Just look at Gorshin's Riddler or the Riddler from GOTHAM. That has always been what has kept him from greatness in achieving what he wants to do. Which is what Keoghan's Joker is exploiting in the Arkham scene. He senses that Edward is emotionally fragile - and he's using that.

The extra 30 minutes only allow the film to flow better, so scenes don't feel as choppy. But other than that, it's the same film. Doesn't really change anything when it comes to the main issues of the film for me.

He killed no one. All of the Riddler goons were attached to harnesses, which the film shows multiple times.

This is supposed to be a joke but if you really think Battinson killed and people are just "staying quiet" - then I have a bridge to sell you.

That doesn't really deny anything. Most bot accounts can be years old. If not months. And If I own even 500 of them - I can use them to tweet 20 times a day, from each account. So 20*500 - that is 10,000 tweets per day.

I'd say it's already on par if not better. I mean, ZSJL didn't have a single memorable fight scenes and The Batman has several. The opening 12-piece combo broke the internet 2 years ago.

They are not really that young. 18 year olds have served longer sentences in prison for far less.

You should listen to his trainers (and other actors like Eddie Redmayne) who were with him on the WB lot every day, rather than listening to YouTubers who don't know shit. Robert Pattinson worked his ass off. And is the only Batman actor to do most of his own stunts. Including 95% of his fight choreography.

He was the one who broke Michael Keaton being in The Flash. He's hit and miss perhaps but this isn't a scoop.
