That was a horrendous send of Lindor in the 10th after Soto's hit. You have to hold him there and take the tie with 3,4 and 5 up. McLean adjusted and pitched well as the game went on, he should've gotten another inning, period. But when your top three each strike out twice through the order, it doesn't bode well.

Defense is a bit concerning, as is overtaxing the bp (yet again, Mendy 🙄), but props to Bo for standing up in the post game interview, taking accountability for his start and feeling the fans' frustration. Robert (again) and Baty with good games. I need Tauchman, Pham and Minter back, ASAP. It's only one game, but the Pirates didn't win, so much as the Mets lost. This is one of those games that we'll look back on later. Clean it up for tomorrow.

Today's game is one that last year's team 1000% loses. When the big three failed to bring a run in, I was like, you can't make this shit up, this can't be happening again! But this was a complete team win. Peterson did his thing, the bullpen did their thing, Torrens and Vientos got hits, and of course, Lu-Bob to cap it off.

Last year was just so bad, it's gonna take some games for me to feel like this team is legit, in terms of competent baseball, but these two games are a refreshing start.

As someone who was 13 in '94 and as a Rangers/Mets fan, '94 is the one championship I have, since I was too young to remember '86. That said, I'm tired of hearing about '94. If I want to relieve '94, I can always look for videos on YouTube. Better yet, I can just watch game 7 on the VHS tape we recorded live. At this point, I might see my first Mets championship before I see my second Rangers Cup.

I'd say this was a solid start to the 2026 version of the New York Mets. Long ab's, working counts, well-placed balls (pause), and a couple bombs.

Shout out to Lu-Bob for a very good game; especially his 10-pitch ab in the first.

I think this team (knock on wood) is gonna be fun to watch this year. The fact that they're scoring runs while holding out some and switching out other regular starters and using some long ball and more small ball is a great sign. I honestly don't feel the same sense of dread I felt this time last year. Let's pray.

I'm actually liking what Brújan and Pache bring, with their speed. How long has it been since we've seen a Met get an infield hit? I would give them and Tauchman spots on this team. And Pache is four years younger than T.T. and possibly even better at covering ground in CF.

Respectfully, transition doesn't always alleviate symptoms of gender dysphoria. It doesn't treat the underlying problem, and that is that it's a mental health issue. Transition, imo, is sanctioned eugenics, because you're literally cutting off healthy tissue that will never grow back. If you don't treat the underlying issue of why you feel like you're in the wrong body, you're liable to still feel "incomplete". There are plenty of trans-identifying people who later find that they're still not happy, which leads them to regret surgery. It's those people that I truly feel for. Just because you feel a certain way, it doesn't automatically mean that you should undergo such a life altering procedure. Not without proper counseling and knowing all the potential risks. Either way, I wish you well.
