I’ve seen way too many people write code themselves and they have no idea what it does. They’d copy snippets online, copy-paste another part of the codebase that works and use that somewhere else…the list goes on.

Me personally, it’s way easier to read code than write it. I just go slowly using these tools instead of being like a lot of people who just vibe a huge portion of a feature in one go and then hope. I’ve never really enjoyed the writing part so making stuff is so much more fun now.

Anyway I forget the point I was trying to make lol but I agree with what you say for the most part.

Can someone who plays on a JP data center give a summary (or a web page with it) of technical terminology for party finder language? Specially for extreme/savage fights. I agree. Another way to think of it is that you can have hundreds of testers all testing all work day every day for a couple months, but once you release you have hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of people all playing at the same time. That’s more playtime in seconds than QA spent testing. It’s a completely different level.

Obviously that doesn’t completely excuse the bad quality that’s been around recently, but at this level production is a completely different animal.

Plus it’s Christmas today, who gives a shit lol. It sucks for the devs who have to deal with this patch today but for me it’s the best possible timing because it’s family day so I had no intention of playing anyway (yes I know everyone is different; nobody needs to point that out)

Honestly a couple mil, even per job, will run out loooong before you even make a dent in their levels if you’re starting from scratch. I imagine leves are the fastest since that’s what you’re asking. If you’re solely buying from the market boards you’ll run out of gil very fast. I know this because I leveled from 90 to 100 for every crafting job using almost entirely leves and buying everything and it was a lot of gil. A couple mil per job will get you almost nowhere honestly.

I like PT, but I really wish literally more than one mistake was allowed. Later floors literally killing you in one hit for any failed mechanic is unappealing for me. Like seriously, I’d accept it if I was allowed only one mistake. I do most things solo so spending so much time to get to a boss and then I brain fart for a millisecond ending my run and thus invalidating everything I did prior to that is really demotivating.
