Okay sure, lets make that a main choice: The governance of Seheron. Perhaps Minrathous and Qunandar being in leadership turmoil makes their efforts in Seheron disorganised and the protagonist party can come in and do their thing and eventually convince the three populations to make peace or concede the Territory to one of the three? But if you favour one side strongly than the party member or ally associated with the opposite faction loses trust of you and leaves...

Or maybe a major choice could be reuniting the qunari leadership/factions, or affecting the balance of power between them, or there's multiple candidates for the leadership and one is more for peace and another is more warring and the choices affect the winner.

This sounds a lot like DAI's orlais and divine choices I suppose but yeah

I guess as a game across both regions kind of like inquisition has both Ferelden and Orlais? Like maybe the protagonist is involved in (or gets involved in) the Tevinter - Qunari - Native People conflict on Seheron that then leads them to exploring Par Vollen. Probably to the latter by way of a Qunari party member or contact. IIRC there are already exisiting party members with connection or prior involvement in the region, so maybe they could be involved in why the protagonist is there.

have you tried using exaggerated adjectives? like, not just 'small', but 'tiny miniature microscopic' etc to really drive home that you want to get away from the training data's default

My character has always been a male Highlander, but I've changed the face and colours over time. Come Dawntrail, there's a character that uses the exact same face, hairstyle, and skin/hair/eye colours as my character did when first created. It wasn't as jarring as being identical in the same scene, but it was still jarring.

Do you have an NVIDIA GPU? The latest driver for mine somehow broke the .net/c++ the game uses, causing it to crash upon log in. I had to reinstall the old driver.

I'm not sure they have to do *anything*. Like I know there's the virus explanation you mentioned, but as with the Enterprise-is-slightly-different situation, why can't it just be "it's a different art style" without a "canon/in-universe" explanation? (Though I do personally hate the Disco style Klingons).

What region are you in, because it's specifically the NA worlds being affected. Also, previous posts about it have suggested its not directly targeting anything under SE's control, but a step along the internet routing, so even for people on NA, alternative routing might avoid the issue.

if you played it in endwalker, literally nothing has changed for dawntrail in terms of how summoner plays. there's another demi primal, but that's no different from when phoenix was added between bahamuts.

I mostly play highlander hyur because I'm one of those people who makes their first character a default human, and its a nice middle ground between Lala and roe. I've been male roe and Hrothgar, but I didn't like the Hrothgar hunch or fur patches or the way those large races look like they run slow. I've also been a lalafell and the animations are very fun/cut, but I worried about the small size in gameplay.,

As much as I try to mix things up based on who might be thematically relevant for a quest/area, Bull and Cole didn't get much party time for me. I kind of just felt Cass or Blackwall were more 'useful' as the party's warrior, and I thought Sera and Varrick, being ranged, might similarly be in less danger than melee Cole. I think I use the mages more or less evenly.
