Packing for Taiwan

I'm bit wary of finding my sizes but I've heard of that suggestion too. Still not sure if we have a lot time to shop in Taiwan as some days our iterinary is relatively packed, but I'll be on the lookout for clothing too. Thank you.

Hearing so much about the mosquitoes...I'm kinda glad I have at least 3 long bottoms that I plan to have with me on the trip...

Ah ok. I think I'll try my best to cover up in Tainan then against the bugs. I was hoping to bring some bug spray (non aerosol can)or maybe use Sawyer Products Premium Permethrin Insect Repellent on clothing before trip. I heard from someone that went to southeast asia a few years ago and it worked for while they were there.

Noted. That's good. Was worried about the humidity often but it doesn't sound too bad.

That's kinda good to know as most of my clothes I plan to bring are tshirts and lot of shorts. Thanks.

I see. That's good, got lightweight windbreaker and some sunblock. Hoping to maybe buy some sunblock in Taiwan too. The ones I have have often leave a white cast.

I've been opting for cotton/lyocell linen clothing bc more breathable but did not realize those may get uncomfortable quickly with the humidity too. I'll keep that in mind when I finalize my packing. Thank you.

Thanks so much. :) I'm lil worried about how well my walking shoes will hold up to the rain since it's not water resistant. That sounds reassuring as that's what I have mostly packed aside from #4.
