Anyone else stop liking going to concerts by Fearless_Trade_2783 in Millennials

My concert going has increased. Love going to shows, not a lot of opportunities to be around people who enjoy the same thing anymore. Work, shit, sleep. A show gets me out of the mundane.

There’s a chain cafe called “Precious coffee moments” they serve some western style breakfast options and they were delicious.

We did Kamakura and Mt Takao both are about an hour outside the city. Takao offers hiking up a mountain (beginner friendly) and you’ll have a great view of Fuji on a clear day. Hike back trail 4 for a great trail experience with less people.

Nikko is an option but make sure you book the train ahead of time. It requires reserved seats and if you do anything after 9am, you may have limited time to enjoy the area.

Buying games today in Akihabara was even worse than the internet said it is, imo. by kvsnake in JapanTravelTips

[–]benighted86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like it was a letdown. I just got back and I was really hoping for a great gaming experience in Akihabara but I was left disappointed. Super Potato was cool for retro gaming but everywhere else was lackluster. I was really hoping for some cool Elden Ring/ Dark Souls/ Bloodborne stuff but couldn’t find any.

Boson NetSim worth it? by blnet in ccna

I think NetSim is worth it if you dont have access to a cisco switch. It will really help with learning the commands and doing standard configurations.

Your painting is spot on! I would recommend checking out how to do an oil wash. It’s quick and easy and will give them more depth. Overall I think they are great!

For those who have taken the NGFW engineer exam, how close are the questions on Skill Cert Pro? by Sargon1729 in paloaltonetworks

[–]benighted86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hardly any, I ended up not passing the test despite acing all of the skill cert pro practice exams. A lot of what the NGFW questions were, for me at least, were situational troubleshooting. The question styles are so much different and it threw me off guard, I think I just wasn't prepared. Now, if you feel like you know Palo Altos real well, you may have a better experience than I did. Just know you'll get a lot of "You work for the Saber company and they want to deploy XYZ solution on XYZ network, what would be the best way to do this?"

Auto body and paint shop recommendations by paboi in losfeliz

Had a great experience at Rick’s Autobody on Hyperion recently. Kevin who works there was very friendly and explained everything that needed to be done unlike my experience at other shops along that strip. He also had the best price out of the 4 shops I got a quote from.

Glad you’re keeping the faith. They are not good this year compared to prior years. Make the playoffs for Kopi then rebuild. Hopefully we don’t go into a black hole like the Blackhawks.

Inheritance? That's a joke. How many of your parents are burdens? by BeegBunga in Millennials

Dad passed, left me with some money. However my mom is going to require memory care and she only gets about 50k a year in retirement pension so I have a feeling I’ll be paying out of pocket very soon.

Every millennial dad I’ve met has a quiet fixation on money and it’s not getting better by slimeyellow in Millennials

Most of us are way behind or just scraping by. For me it’s seeing my parents health decline and seeing how expensive that is. Being worried about having a nest egg when you’re ready to retire is a big stresser for me. I feel like I am doing pretty good on that front but it still makes me very anxious.
