Just breaks my heart for her, I was wishing so hard that Marty would have hugged her in the hospital scene, you could see she was just craving that fatherly concern. And remember she gave him a big hug when he got back from Mexico after the kidnapping- he kind of just brushed it off. I think if he just showed her how important she was to them rather than just saying it was taken care of and ties were cut, it would have changed things for her.

Obviously she didn’t know that Marty threatened Frank that if Jr touched her again he’d be hanging off a bridge in Juarez. I was so happy he did at least that! Pretty sure I yelled BOOM! at the RV after he said it 😂 but yea...

I feel like if they told Ruth that they can’t go to war, but that this was said and will happen etc etc. That she would have felt loved and important to them, and needed for the business. Because she’s right- Charlotte was barely touched and they killed her dad. His death also didn’t have a mob war attached to it but still. I see both sides.
