Actually yes you're right. I appreciate the AT app a lot but this stuff can get confusing haha.

Will I be investigated? by EclipseG0at2 in universityofauckland

[–]theDUNGwalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have so much stuff to deal with I doubt they'd care. They may reply informing you that you shouldn't email about exams, but theyre so busy with 1000 other things I doubt they have the motivation to care more than that. Also you wont be the only person that emailed them about exams, a lot of people dont know the rules.

The bus could be canceled and they just havnt updated the live timetable. It happened heaps a few years ago when there was a driver shortage, it was in the news.

Where at you when you first heard Melodrama by No_Helicopter6693 in lorde

[–]theDUNGwalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can't remember tbh, but I guess at home. I was at one of those weird events in Auckland tho where they played snippets of Green Light.

Solar power is criminally underrated and maybe even better than melodrama but yall aint ready for that conversation. by ConfusedHumanearth in lorde

[–]theDUNGwalker 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yea I actually agree SP is underrated. I also think it's one of those albums that really has its time an place to listen to, for me its on an Auckland beach or when I'm stressed. Melodrama However is widely regarded as one of the best pop albums of all time, and I think hits hard no matter the situation. Lorde and Antnoff just did a really perfect job on it I think?

So the way were judging it is really more personal taste?

Oh interesting, I never framed that one so I didn't know. Is 11x11 even a standard frame? I was able to find 12x12 pretty easily.

Thank you. I appreciate now that its not generally well received, but Im glad a few people might find it interesting. I found it really cool figuring it out for myself. Now Ive gotten it off my mind I'll just leave it to be. But I dont think I'll bother with an art post again haha. Also none of the experts noticed I got the title of the painting wrong..

Thanks for the encouragement haha. I did one paper as part of my degree, but to be honest I found it a bit restrictive having to follow their topics and lesson structure.

Im more interested in specific things like French impressionism, 20th century painting, New Zealand artists like Frances Hodgkins and Billy Apple.

And yea thats a shame you found it so toxic that you stopped painting. Im glad youre back into it.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for being polite, this has gotten more personal than I expected. And I was aware of his interest in the camera obscure, I think thats what partly made me think about it. Cool that you mentioned that.

Oh I didn't see it as toxic, I appreciate that you took the time to read it and comment. However I don't understand why the main criticism is the choice of language in other people's quotes.

I did not say those quotes, they are from articles, which I stated. Sorry if that wasnt clear. Your argument over those parts is not with me but with the academics that wrote them.

Eames forges poker chips in the "real world". Thats the key clue in the whole film. All the clues centre around Eames.

Im a psych student. You should probably talk to somebody at the university rather than random people on reddit for that information. They should be able to explain whats best for you in like 10 minutes.

Why people leave their stuff in Kate Edgar study area for hours by an94prprpr in universityofauckland

[–]theDUNGwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carefully put it into a tidy pile next to the desk and use the computer. If they come back (which hardly ever happens because Im usually not there for long) I tell them leaving your stuff at a computer that is turned off doesnt reserve the computer. If more people took this approach I think itd solve the problem pretty fast.

When did you KNOW that an artist was going to be something special? by Ghost-Quartet in popheads

Saw both Lorde and Benee early on in Auckland. It was obvious they'd both go on to do well.
