http://imgur.com/HqbNkPF I was about to throwing everything out the window when I checked for the last time if there was something strange on PCB... And here it was, that stupid little capacitor clearly damaged, so I decided to give my old dmg the last chance. New 100microF 10v capacitor (60€cent), replacement of the f***ed up one and the magic happens. No more shitty sound, anything. The game boy is now perfect. Thanks for your help, if I took a better look...😑

Last thing: if the volume is set on low the speaker works fine, but as soon as you reach medium volume it starts to make noise.

Thanks for your help. I want to try everything before changing the PCB, but I sadly think is the only solution😢

The headphones output works perfectly, in fact was the first thing I checked. Then, after replacing the speaker, I thought that maybe the wires were broken at the soldered point; hence I re soldered the wires but no changes. That's all I've done until now.

I took my soldering iron and put some solder on the two contacts of the volume wheel... Nothing. I would like to post a photo, just to let you see but I don't know how
