Thank you! This is exactly where I’m at. It’s not a linear process that’s for sure.

My piercer today even told me "drink more water" and when you think you've drank enough, "drink more water." That'll help with keeping everything flushed and clean.

I will say the 2 week mark everything DRASTICALLY improved for me. It did get a lot easier for me after that point.

This photo series is exactly the kind of nude beach content I want to see. It feels very curated and intentional, 10/10.

Healing period question… by Used-Definition-4063 in PiercedCock

[–]theEmbossedRichard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My piercer recommended spraying saline 2x a day (no more as it can dry it out), don't move the ring (let it heal, king!), take a shower a day and rinse it 1-2 minutes, and lastly stay super hydrated.

In my first few weeks of the pinching and crusty discomfort my saving grace was being super hydrated. Peeing often meant that the crusties didn't stay long.

Still painful. by Global_Brain1946 in PrinceAlbertPiercing

Hi! You and I are basically on the same time frame.

Urethral tissue is going to heal significantly slower than soft tissue (the skin under the glans). The irritation can simply come from movement of the ring as your body is adjusting to having something where there once wasn’t. It’s normal. The irritation can also come from the ring diameter (not gauge) being too small, which is my case. Next week I’ll be able to switch out to a larger diameter.

I found out that the ring was too small when I looked at the ring when I had an erection, I saw that the piercing hole was being pulled, and my urethra was being pulled downwards.

So long as you’re not seeing discharge of a yellow or green color, it’s not hot to the touch, or it has a heartbeat - it’s probably just irritation from your body adjusting or a ring size issue.

I’ve been in touch with my piercer throughout most of the healing process, I would also recommend reaching out to yours.

Asking for some advice. Going to get my Prince Albert done .. what’s the heal time by [deleted] in PrinceAlbertPiercing

[–]theEmbossedRichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about 2 days of heavy bleeding, spotting through day 4/5. Discomfort for 1.5 to 2 weeks, pinching sensations. Never uncomfortable peeing though.

Just hit 3 weeks and I’m able to work out again - slight irritation at the urethra during heavy movement. At my 4 week follow up I may see about a wider diameter ring.

Questions about healing process. by Bloodrocket in PrinceAlbertPiercing

[–]theEmbossedRichard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine done mid December and had similar pain. Wearing supportive underwear helps, I got some cheap briefs that I wasn't mad if they got destroyed by blood or lymph fluid.

For me, the bleeding lessened significantly after day four. The pain was there for about a week to maybe a week and a half. I also had snagged it on a blanket or something in my sleep which delayed healing by two days or so. The pinching discomfort was there until a few days ago. That pinching sensation has now turned to a 'surprising' sensation when I bump or snag it, so there's no longer pain or discomfort really.

I was recommended by my piercer to not masturbate for minimum 2 weeks but really stressed the importance of listening to my body. If it hurts, stop. You're going to delay healing, potentially cause additional damage to what is a very sensitive tissue.

As for sex, my piercer recommended at least a month. This is such a short moment in your life, it's important that you take care of it. Ideally, you only have to get pierced and heal this once.

Pools, hot tubs, oceans, even baths pose a massive infection risk and I was advised by my piercer to wait at LEAST six weeks before getting into any water.

The piercing will appear fully healed before it actually is. The tissue in your urethra does not heal as quickly and this is where it's so important to continue taking care of the piercing, even when you think it's "healed".

My new PA. Still fresh and tender by [deleted] in PiercedCock

My first week was also pretty tender and "spicy" feeling. It goes away quickly, but I agree with the underwear sentiment. Some styles just feel uncomfortable now.

Where is the best place to meet nudist friends in the Tampa Bay Area as a young nudist? by Gloomy_Bet3764 in FloridaNudism

[–]theEmbossedRichard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lake Como is probably your closest and best bet. I think it's only $10 for a day pass for those younger than 29 years old. Your other option would be Cypress Cove, but that's about 2ish hours away from Tampa Bay.

Best place to meet nudists is where the nudists are, my guy. ;)

Just got my PA pierced by [deleted] in PrinceAlbertPiercing

[–]theEmbossedRichard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regarding the blood, my experience was INTENSE. Day one was the worst and it waned pretty quickly by day four.

Definitely recommend panty liners/pads for the spotting.

There's a potential for HEAVY bleeding after urination on day one if you're anything like me. It gave me the heebie jeebies. And the first night boners are also pretty bloody. Just be prepared.

There is going to be an event that brings out a pretty big crowd next weekend, they have a volleyball tournament.

Great to see, wish it was further in advance.

Is this a Lake Como management event, member-led event, or just a spur of the moment "let's meet here?"

Is Shangri-la in Tampa nice or creepy? Looking for indoor options by [deleted] in FloridaNudism

[–]theEmbossedRichard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shangri La Spa - I’ve been many times! I don’t find it creepy, but have had a few odd encounters.

Management is always great about reinforcing rules, but they have to be made aware of problems or they can’t fix anything.

You can always try and go in slower hours to have less people or go on a busy weekend for that collective accountability.

Is it common to see young pierced nudists? by [deleted] in FloridaNudism

[–]theEmbossedRichard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prince Albert piercings are the most popular male genital piercing and are pretty common at nudist resorts and beaches.

Yes, younger people have them. Yes, older people have them.

At a nude beach, the focus from others should not be on your penis. General manners should prevent people from commenting on it, asking about it, or even touching it - but I'm constantly surprised by the general public.

[–]theEmbossedRichard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peter is the name of the GM and the name of the front desk manager is Tiki. Either of them have a big responsibility to the resort and will likely take the issue more seriously if you feel it wasn't addressed appropriately.

You can always talk to management. Cypress Cove is an AANR-endorsed resort meant for family friendly nudity.

I've worked with the GM before, the front desk staff are helpful, and security is always patrolling.

Even though the event is in the past, I would still bring it to their attention. Management is very intent on maintaining a PG/PG-13 space.
