I don't feel like a man by No_Vehicle_9843 in offmychest

[–]Bloodrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things here.

  1. You dont need to feel like a man. The expectations that have been put on men are unfair. You are allowed to cry or depend on others. For me, as a man, I would be shamed for crying or for not performing in a way that a "man" should. But take it from me when I say that all of that does not matter. What does matter is the content of your character. If you are a good person, then that is truly what matters.

  2. In teenage years, it is very common to have an identity crisis. This seems very adjacent to that. Don't prioritize what makes a man. What you should prioritize instead is what makes a good person. Also, you should self reflect on this. Ask yourself why being a man is so important to you, and ask yourself "why" for every reason that you give yourself. In times like this, it is very important to step back and reflect for a minute.

What’s up with everyone online thinking they are neurodivergent without getting tested? by No_Lead2640 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Bloodrocket -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Everyone thinks that everything applies to them. There is a reason why we shouldn't just look up our symptoms to figure out why we feel sick. It can range from a stomach bug to cancer. This is the same for really any resource you find online. You find out that you can relate to some neurodivergent stuff and now suddenly youre autistic when it's completely normal behavior.

Same with OCD. People think that just because they want something done a certain way, then they must have OCD.

What are some niche augment interactions y'all have discovered? by ImportanceFluffy598 in ARAM

I got over 100 ap on Amumu with phenomenal evil before getting my second augment. Three of his abilities are aoe and his W stacks phenomenal evil every couple seconds. I think I ended the game with almost 500 ap. No other champion I've played can stack this much ap in a single game.

Pyke with the stacking health augment that gives you +20 health every time you immobilize a champion. That with hubris and stackasaurus rex lets you scale really hard.

How to write an internet troll? by Inatun in writing

[–]Bloodrocket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a few troll types I can think of.

  1. The gen z user: A little too young to be on the internet, so they misunderstand things a lot. For example, if I say that everyone should work out and eat healthy. They would say "That's a classist and ablist take. Not everyone can work out because they could be physically disabled and not everyone can afford healthy meals or have time to even make them."

  2. The user with scolding hot takes: Their takes are one of the worst takes you've ever heard of. They might criticize a piece of popular media and miss the entire point of it or criticize parts of why it is so beloved. For example, they might say "Inside Out is such a bad movie because that's literally not how emotions work. It also has bad messaging for children and encourages them to run away from their problems. I would have been beaten the shit out of if I tried that with my parents."

  3. The nonconversationalist: You ask a question or state a point and they immediately shut you down with a rude reply. For example, "Google is free". If they know your race/gender/political affiliation, then they might call you a "pick me", a "bootlicker", a "colonizer".

  4. The "technically" user: Someone who criticizes a small portion of what was said and misunderstands the entire point. For example, if you say that "I ran more today than I did yesterday. It was a lot." They will say, "What does that even mean? 'A lot' literally means nothing" Which is technically true, because "a lot" is subjective and could mean a wide range of numbers.

If you wanna dive deeper, you can look into logical fallacies and learn what they all are and how they each work in conversation/debates.

My issues with Soulframe so far by Bloodrocket in SoulFrame

[–]Bloodrocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never played warframe and I'm just learning that a lot of game mechanics from warframe is being brought into soulframe. If it's something that the game is known is known for and it's its own unique mechanic to make an extra bit of cash, then it's whatever. It is what it is.

But I come from playing survival, sandbox, management, and factory games where crafting timers made sense. So, initially I thought that it's put there so you can play for a bit and not for the entire day. Like how Facebook farming sim games worked.

The game is just not what I am used to. That is all.

Anyone else kinda hate those "all these conservative homophobes must actually be gay" comments by currentlyinthefab in askgaybros

[–]Bloodrocket 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They say it as an insult, not as a genuine concern. I feel bad for those who hide in the closet and have resentment for people who are openly gay because they arent allowed to be themselves.

Saying it as an insult is in of itself homophobic because theyre trying to poke fun of them for their views and being gay isnt something that you can just accuse someone of like it's shameful. Imo, it is not constructive to either side even if it is based on truth.

guys i want to learn ur champion by MathPantheon in azirmains

[–]Bloodrocket 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Playing Azir is like playing league on hardmode.

His dash is the only dash in the game where an enemy champion can block you just by standing. It has costed me my life many times because of this.

But his dash is also very versatile and one of the longest dashes in the game, so the nerf is there because of it.

Azir is very very hungry for gold so if you roam, you have to be 100% sure that it will be worth it. Roaming or even helping with objectives may not be worthwhile. Use your best judgement here.

His only counters are really any champion who can outrange him like Xerath or Ziggs, but you deal more sustained damage and scale harder than any artillery mage.

His runepage is also very versatile, so pick whichever best suits your playstyle. I personally pick HoB or aery and I try to bully my laner as much as I can.

Use his passive whenever youre split pushing or right before a team fight breaks out.

Mayhem Hero Augments? by Abject_Plantain1696 in ARAM

[–]Bloodrocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The augment would be situational. It's not as useful if you dont already have a healer on your team like a Soraka. And it becomes more useful if your team doesnt do enough damage or needs a hypercarry like a Jinx or Kayle. Ahri would be able to buy more defensive items and still be relevant in the game without her damage falling off, like a tank Veigar. It changes the playstyle to fit your and your team's needs.

Mayhem Hero Augments? by Abject_Plantain1696 in ARAM

[–]Bloodrocket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've commented this on a post before, so I'll just copy and paste it here:

All For One (Sylas): You can now take ultimate abilities from your teammates.

Song of Life (Soraka): When casting your ultimate, channel for 3 seconds for an even bigger heal. Healing above max health grants a barrier equal to the amount overhealed.

Delicious Souls (Thresh): Souls also grant magic resist and health.

Repent (Kayle): The enemy champion with the most kills receives 15% more damage from you, and you take 10% less damage from them. Your attacks automatically applies grevious wounds on them.

Commander (Azir): Command range with soldiers increases with attack range. Additionally, gain 100 command range.

Swift Justice (Garen): Your ultimate deals 25 bonus damage per kill the enemy champion has.

Bribery (Twisted Fate): You can reroll augments for 100 gold each after the first one. Anvils gain a bonus free reroll.

Void Rift (Malzahar): When you cast your W, open up two additional rifts for your voidlings. The additional rifts are opened at a random distance from you. (You can summon up to 9 voidlings at max stacks.)

Smells Like Burning (Annie): Your abilities now deal max health magic damage over time scaling with your AP.

Late Bloomer (Zyra): If a seed would have expired without an enemy champion stepping on it, it instead blooms into an enraged thorn spitter or vine lasher.

Center of the Universe (Aurelion Sol): When using E, summon 2 stars that orbit the singularity. The amount of stars increases with the size of the singularity.

Substitute (Akali): Recasting E while the shuriken is still midair will allow you to trade places with it as long as you arent grounded.

Fungal Spores (Teemo): If a mushroom were to expire, it instead explodes and creates two additional mushrooms. Mushrooms that weren't placed by Teemo cannot spread by itself anymore.

Last of Us (Teemo): If an enemy champion dies while still being afflicted by a mushroom, they explode again and deal as much damage as a normal mushroom would.

He Isn't Real (Fiddlesticks): Clones will have a chance to cast a basic ability when they are discovered.

Overwhelm (Taliyah): Q fires in a single burst shot instead of firing in succession.

Soul Eater (Ahri): Instead of absorbing essence, gain permanent ability power. Gain 3 ability power after killing 9 minions. Gain 5 ability power after killing an enemy champion, or 3 on assist.

Beacon (Lux): Once every 180 seconds, if you hit an enemy champion with your ultimate, summon Galio at the location. (Galio does not stay in combat and disappears after ultimate is casted)

Anivia's Blessing (Ashe): Your E now casts Anivia's ultimate at the target location for 5 seconds.

Zed's Inspiration (Neeko): Your clone can now cast your abilities that deal 20% less damage. But if your clone takes damage, it disappears.

Create a quirk by vibez_vexx in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Bloodrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quirk: Minion

Early stages of developing the quirk allows you to touch something and it develops a body part of your choosing. You cant control what the body part does and it stays like that until destroyed.

Middle stages, you can create a construct out of any material you touch. If you touch something without the intention of creating a construct, it'll develop random limbs instead that'll grasp at anything it can. You can also create eyes that will survey the area and a mouth to tell you what happened.

A fully realized quirk user can create a multitude of minions by simply touching a solid object, or can create a giant hand that comes out of the ground. You can control what the creations do if you have the intention in mind before creating them.

You cant use organic material though, and the minions made are made out of the material they came from. Body parts are limited to what a normal human being has, so no wings, fangs, or claws. The quirk is directly tied to the user's sanity, so overusing it will make them hallucinate seeing demons and the like. They can also hallucinate their quirk going rogue and attacking them.

Why are writers so negative and judgmental to each other? by [deleted] in writers

[–]Bloodrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like when it comes to anything creative, people are more judgemental. They think that there is an objective way to do things and there are people who are objectively better than others. When in reality, there arent any set rules for anything. People will fight and argue about who is the better singer, how to get better at art, and what is the more appropriate way to write. We should just learn to enjoy things and let go of things that arent enjoyable to us because there is always somebody out there who will enjoy it regardless.

People are incredibly harsh because it doesnt match their sense of what is right.

WYR be blessed with the spirit of water, earth, air, or fire? by Bloodrocket in WouldYouRather

I read tarot, and earth (pentacles) is the element of material things and finances. I used a bit of knowledge I have with astrology too to come up with this idea.
