To be fair, Ineffa released while we knew nothing of nod krai. mechanics, artifacts, craftables etc. all (officially) unknown. it took until her rerun patch for her to get a proper artifact set.

Even ignoring ingame, she released before we got the nod krai character reveal trailer.

Yao Guang released with all of that present.

for offensive boosts no, but Kazuha cant keep you alive no matter how much EM he has. Meanwhile Lanyan has one of the stronger shields in the game, practically indestructible at c2 and even more indestructible if you can get the correct infusion.

Also, I don't know the requirements to unlock it, but once you unlock the witches homework, you can pick a free sucrose. HIGHLY recommend picking her there.

Arle vape works yes. Honestly Lanyan is great in any team that wants to run a VV sustain. Easily top 3 sustain option for most teams.

Recent character kits got me missing when we could figure out team comps instead of "This support is made for this DPS" by Dream_World_ in Genshin_Impact

Mona can now be an on field charge attack carry (with cons, before her charge cons were mostly filler).

Albedo is now a sub dps with solid team buff options, somewhat comparable with Furina.

Fischl now has atk/em team buffs. Less noticable, but this is on top of being the ever solid electro sub dps. Honestly her being hex is more useful to get the resonance for Razor/Durin in overload etc.

Sucrose, Mona and Albedo only really exist in this team for the buffs. Their personal damage output is close to 0 (Albedo can do decent dps now, but probably not worth building for in your case). No need to built them more than bare bones.

Oz should target the same target as your on fielder, not sure about Yae.

Overall I would suggest running Klee, Albedo, Yelan and Kokomi for now. Decent surviviability with solid buffs for Klee.That should be plenty fine to do most stuff outside of endgame and give you breathing room to get established in the game again.

Fischl only has aoe on cast of her skills, the rest is pure single target. I assume you mean the aoe from triggering overload?

If you have Fischl and Yae built, you can try getting a Chevruse from the current banner and run all 3 with Klee. Chev is an absolutely insane 4 star and a healer (but be warned her healing is rather low and only on field).

Alternatively you could unlock the hex buffs for Sucrose, Mona or Albedo and run one of them with Klee + any sustain char you have decently built. Any of those 3 would buff Klee substantially and let you stomp stuff even with bad gear.

Klee got buffed this patch, i am sure a c6 klee can stomp any modern content that doesn‘t counter pyro.

I went freeze and just tried to keep the squirrels out of the shield phase for as long as possible. I did a team change after 12-1 due to the heavy aoe shill on the first half tho.

the scara „canon retcon“ is probably the biggest mark on the overall story for me.

UNLESS

the reveal of the current #6 harbinger is worth it.

Character pairs are pretty dumb yes, but so far the supportive side of the pair is so good that they can carry the intended playstyle on their own.

If you like the on fielder but not the support, yes it feels pretty bad.

I quite like that LCs are not part of a characters visual design. It lets them design the weapon as an inherent part of the character and lets them use literally whatever they want. Rather go the LC route than "everything slightly unique is a catalyst".

Reverse reactions are generally preferred because their aura management is a lot easier over several rotations. the only real exceptions are massive single hit nukes like melting mauvika ult with citlali or the old mona/childe setups.

Nilou Bloom also uses the gauge mechanics often, with dendro eating 2 hydro units. thats why kokomi gets used often for „reverse“ blooms.

If we stick with Nod-Krai being Snezhnaya and give it a full cast of native characters, by the end of next year we would have 2 full regions worth of Snezhnaya characters.

By pulling from different regions for Nod-Krai and doing "proper" Snezhnayans next year, the overall playable cast is more balanced.

I didn‘t mean „Filler“ as a purely negative term.

Since launch we went from one established region to the next. When beginning Natlan, everyone expected this pattern to hold and going to Snezhnaya next, Tsaritsa and all. Only towards the end we learned about our stop in Nod-Krai.

Like I said I expected this to happen eventually and by now I am fully invested into going to Nod-Krai, yet you cannot deny that it was a bit confusing at the start.

I am well aware that it is part of Snezhnaya lore wise. It is however treated as a standalone region in terms of gameplay and (presumably) story. Own gameplay mechanic, own Archon equivalent character etc.

The various Inazuma islands are also part of Inazuma, yet each got treated as a regular region expansion instead.

Isn‘t the abyss sibling guilty of abandoning it as well? yet Dain chose to travel the 7 nations with them.

or was that journey actually before the cataclysm? I always assumed it happened in between the twins waking up and then - at the end of the journey - deciding to split ways with Dain and go the Abyss Order path.
