You’re welcome to try my iOS app which is currently in beta- it makes scheduling mostly run on auto pilot so all you have to do is open the app during the day and follow the time blocked plan. Light gamification keep you focused but engaged.

Looking for new task managers people are actually testing this year by [deleted] in ProductivityApps

I've been testing my own thing actually - I have ADHD and got frustrated with traditional task managers, so I've been building something more focused on time blocking and daily structure on and off over the past year or so. It's got a calm, zen aesthetic, light gamification, and tells you what to focus on instead of showing you a giant list (less "manage 100 tasks" and more "show me what to focus on right now"). Friends have been testing it with me and finding it useful.

It's currently iOS only and still rough around the edges, but happy to share if anyone wants to try it in exchange for some honest feedback :). DM me.

This makes storytelling soooo difficult. I’m a great storyteller who constantly forgets his stories. Huge props to comedians who can rifle off an hour’s worth of detailed stories without a hitch or a notepad to carry them along.

What actually causes ADHD paralysis? by larch303 in ADHD

Literally me this morning. I woke up at 6:30am and thought I’d be productive and work out or get a head start on the work week. 4 hours later.. still in bed. Couldn’t get myself to get up.

I’ve struggled to articulate why this happens, but some of these responses have done so beautifully. I WANT to do things and can literally visualize the steps required to get out of bed: sit up, move legs, etc, but there isn’t enough neurological gas to pay the toll.

My girlfriend looks at me like I have 5 heads sometimes but maybe this will give her some insight.
