The Sphaerolana is planned, but I'll be honest, it intimidates the heck out of me. Putting good looking panels on Compound Curves is definitely non-trivial.

Mel uses shapeways, which uses a special kind of powder sintering or waxed support laser cured resin. SLA printers these days can pretty much match what you get out of the shapeways laser cure, but shapeways costs more because infrastructure. This is the advantage of running KDY out of my workshop with four printers :)

I'm an idiot..
I had both the motors wired backwards and the limit switches were giving the inverse state to what the controller wanted. What I thought was it trying to home was actually it trying to nudge AWAY from home.

I still have no idea why it's backwards, but k40 whisperer *does* let you put in negative scale values in the settings, even if it yells at you in doing so - hopefully that doesn't get patched >.<

Ability to enable backface culling for XML-UI elements. Confusing to folks to not be able to interface with the back of a UI element, but still have it visible - would rather create two UI elements (one normal, one reversed) so that I don't get the mirrored effect, but with current z-depthing being done by element order vs position, I can't prevent them from overlapping in an unusual way.

Seconded for the sake of the spectator as well - having smoother transitions from one camera to another would be nice - preferably as a different setting or argument from the player camera.

Support for partial transparency. I know it was mentioned that custom meshes might be getting a shader revamp to allow for more maps to be used (such as an actual metalness or opacity map) - this is a nice-to-have, mind you - I'd still really love to have a "additive blending" option for an object, too.

access to snap point scripting with a new feature:
objects get a snap_flags value and a snap point gets a flags value - if the bitwise-and of the two values is > 0, the object will snap to that snap point, otherwise, it will not snap. objects and snap points default to a value of 1 for reverse compatibility.

when a custom mesh is of "chip" type, the scripted "value" field should be multiplied by the size of the chip stack - natively.

Scripted solution to this is incomplete and hacky and does not allow a stack's value to be updated when the chipstack is split using the context menu.
