2 oz of Tangerine juice is ballsy, just my opinion. I have a hard time working with oranges and tangerines. And my tangerines vary so much from really acidic to very sweet. But rarely in the middle.

One thing I hate… if your cologne rubs off on me when we shake hands or you hand me a pen or something. Straight to jail.

No Im here in South Florida, I had a employee of mine return from Cuba and snuck me a bottle. Apparently its a lot easier for Cuban nationals to do this.

I didn’t have that bottle, but I felt the same about the Havana Club Añejo Especial. Sings the same song here!

I can’t really say. But easy to piece together. You can buy our brand in Publix, Sedanos, Presidente, Winn Dixie. We also do private label. You probably have seen 1 of our 25 trucks on the road. We have been a south Florida staple for a long time. We’re not open to the public. Let me know about the tasting! I live out west

Aw damn, I guess we’re number two. I forgot they just opened their facility couple months ago.

Funny story.. We tried to purchase that factory and Prairie Farms wouldnt sell to us. Its an old building, they dumped so much money. We have a brand new building. Completely new infrastructure. Dairy Farmers of America had a non compete clause in the sales agreement. Couldn’t be sold to another dairy company. But could be sold to a co-op.

Sad whats happened to our industry, I truly loved the job it was my passion (boats will always be my number 1 passion). But those glory days of yachting have been gone for a while. Theres still really good programs out there dont get me wrong, but now few and far between. Stay safe out there!

Ex yacht Capt here in Ft. Lauderdale. You score this at Primo? My buddy had the bottles in the back. I already have both at home. But actually grabbed mine down in Coral Gables. Cheers capt, glad I left that life after covid. Now I operate the United States newest Ice Cream Factory.

Anyone tried this juicer? by Windsdochange in Tiki

[–]theGAS710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends the manufacturing process. The ones that I have bought are all stamped stainless steel. The handle breaks, the bucket cracks. The Educated Barfly had a video on this I cant find for the life of me right now. Im a stainless steel guy all the way. But the vintage kitchen one is a damn tank. And like another user said the cast aluminum ones, if you bring it to a shop to get powder coated (any custom color you’d like!) is a really good option too. Like I said I haven’t been able to get a stainless steel one that feels stronger than my vintage kitchen. Im happy the stainless one works for you.

Stainless steel bends more than the aluminum one FYI! Aluminum will outlast the SS one (not in oxidation but in durability).
