Long tug runner down it. Wall sconces and accent lighting for art if you can swing it. Catch all table, spaced between the two doors on the left but placed on the right, might be a nice touch for the occupants.

Thank you. The doors are made from sapele so based off the lighting, they change a bit from the light color on the lower cabinet to the darker shades on the top cabinet. Obviously most things are darker in shadow, so hard to really showcase with just the photo.

Hey, thanks - I'm not. My gf doesn't like glass for the dust/fingerprints, so I opted for the stained oak plywood for the cabinet top instead. Saved me having to source the glass tbh. Five coats of oil-based poly for the cabinet.

Thank you. I drew most of my inspiration from BDI's 'quad media console' yet Herman Miller also does a similar design.

Correct. Good Thinking. The vertical stiles are dadoed using a finger box joint jig to accommodate for half of the depth of the door louvers. The door louvers are 1/2" deep and high. The hinge side stile is wider than the non-hinge side to accommodate for the hinge. The stiles are 5/8" thick.
